Getting back into it and too cautious
Just getting back into the game after several years down in Tidewater. Couldn't recover my username so had to start fresh. Just want to say thanks to all you gents and I hope that I can be just as helpful to you in the future. I'm a little paranoid of getting pinched awake from a dream so here's a story about my first foray back into the hobby.
Stopped by the ever so popular LJs today and of course did a drive around to ensure privacy. Saw a truck parked suspiciously in the adjacent lot (full sized grey with some muse near front tire well) and a dude waiting inside of it. I had texted ahead and they said that I could do a walk-in so when this guy hung out there for 20+ minutes I was concerned of chesterfields finest. Was just about to leave and guy got out and went to the door and watched me leave from that door.
If he's on the forum, you gave me a scare! But, I've a feeling that you might have felt the same.
Happy Hobbying!

LGS location verse 3rd St
Yes LGS is a much easier location for LE to set up a watching eye on. Now 3rd St offers a much better option to park remote and and keep your vehicle out of view.
Like the old saying " if it doesn't look right then don't do it".
Same holds true with many of the AMP. Use a location that lends itself a more subtle parking option.
Do a little recon of the area and use the big head. With the new law on the books at some point they are going to make a point to show they mean business.
Stay safe out there.
