You Can Track Electronic Transfers
Asked a close friend about the uptick in deposit-hoes lately; friend works for a local department, can't say which of course, but he's one of 'those' types of friends that I smoke with often, you know what I mean. His answer was (summarizing): "if she has an ad up and lists escorting services as part of her deal, and you contact the number on the ad, with her number not being listed for any other service anywhere else, then that's all someone needs as evidence to establish you're being solicited sex from someone, which isn't illegal. Where it gets into the illegal territory is if you agree to pay a deposit requested by a conversation with her, through the number listed, then you have just agreed to pay for sex; Regardless if delivery of either actually happens. Once she asks for a deposit, say no and drop her. Rate arrangements aren't concrete as no one has agreed to any payment yet. Even her giving rates for time, and you agree to time, there isn't a lot to go one from a prosecution aspect; especially if she lists other services like BDSM or massages. ".
I know the no-deposit mongers have always given their wisdom on the topic! And the wisdom is typically framed as being taken for a ride on a no-delivery type of situation. But this was a bit new to me so something to consider heavily I suppose. Even if you've been paying deposits successfully for some time; if your girl is pinched at some point and your next conversation has the same deposit arrangement, you might want to be sure you're on a burner.
Electronic transfers trace back to bank accounts. They can find you if a situation demands turning over all stones. I suppose there are ways to hide if you want to go through the trouble of figuring it out. Vast majority of deposits I run into are offshore scams. You can tell from the script they read from and their lack of proper English. They are learning that they have tells and are adjusting and getting better at fooling you. Just don't send a deposit. We already know that, most don't.
