7 is really early, so you probably didn't see a big selection, and I don't think I've ever been out that early.

The other areas, like Mass Ave & Peirson, Andrews Square, and Dorchester Ave near Freeport St, seem to start around 10 PM, then peak between 12 and 3 AM.
