In the past I asked for toys, cash and food. But it seems many have food help from the goverment, so other stuff is needed. Diapers, wipes, paper products, cleaning supplies, nice toys and of course cash as EBT cards cannot be used for those products. No, I do not disclose the name or location of these families.
Do you guys know what it is like to have electicity and or gas to be cut off and you are left in the dark and or cold because of no heat in the house? They are really in need. I can't do it by myself.
To the newbies and guys that have not known me long or very well, I have for years gathered toys, food and cash for a couple families that I run into and know that are in very tough shape and could really use the help, not that we all do not need help in this economy. I used to do it all myself and then started asking for help here when my finances went a little down hill and they are even more down now. So, now I will ask again since Craps brought it up. I had not asked because of all the smart ass remarks from just a few "grinches" on the board.
Anyone wishing to help, let me know where to meet or how to get the items to me, I am in the Gwinnett area and can meet somewhere in that area if you will. Seniors or known guys, I will give you a address to send cash or gift cards. Walmart Cards are good.
I also do another separate drive as some of you know for just toys and cash that I take to the Toys for Tots location. Past attendees, I will do it again and let me know if you want to meet.
It will give you a warm feeling in your heart to help some one in need. I hope to make at least 2 or 3 families have a Merry Christmas this year. Help me! Give up a 15 or 30 minute session to help them or do a short session instead of a hour and help them,
