Someone calling from my phone number told his wife they were with the IRS. He said they needed to pay their past due tax bill today or they were going to take their house. I tried to tell him how easy it was to change the CallerID to anything, but he would not listen. He insisted I call my provider and report it. I did and they told me the same thing I told him. This is incredibly easy to do and there was was nothing they can do to stop it. Never trust CallerID.
