You want that in twenties or in ones?
In the article the police say that these new rules are in part meant to hold the girls more liable. How is arresting them not doing this. Honestly I dont see what harm they are doing to the "big picture" but I guess I do have a biased opinion.
I am so sick of the politicians and future politicians (whatever the name of the chick in vice that orcastrates these stings and makes sure her name is in the paper the next day is) using the strip club and sex industry to get press. VEGAS is VEGAS and I don't see why they see it necassary to change or act like they are attempting to change that.
Just my $.02...

Well I know one thing. If the local politicians keep this up, I won't be coming to Vegas any more. I'll take my money and head elsewhere.
Had a friend get ticketed last weekend for touching her breasts in front of a cop at a strip club. She wasn't even touching him just herself. She said there were 3 vice pigs sitting together. Had to laugh when I read in paper today about the removal of a phone that is frequented by drug dealers. In the article it was suggested that police use the phone to set up and catch drug dealers and a councilman remarked that "it would be real nice if we had a bunch of extra police officers with alot of time on their hands". IMO drug dealers are much more of a threat to society than a stripper. Apparently the pigs have enough free time to hang out in strip clubs. These vice pigs should get their lazy, chicken shit asses out of the strip clubs and catch some real criminals. Vice should be ashamed of itself. But then again, with this economy, we all need to watch out for "trooper taxes".
I think in the last 7 days we had one cop killed due to his own reckless driving, several fatal auto accidents involving alcohol or reckless driving and more murders than I can remember.
LVMPD best hurry up and get their troops into the strip clubs to put an end to all this violence and mayhem.

Strip club busts tend to make the paper...
Way to kill off a profitable industry for Vegas.
When guys go to strip clubs they do one thing ALOT. DRINK. Everytime they sell a drink the sin tax bell gets rung and there's money in our coffeirs. We're creating more work for civilly employees (our tax money) and getting less tax revenue.
I think it's RIDICULOUS that a girl can't touch her own breast in public. Maybe we should grow all of beards out and welcome the Taliban.
More than likely, someone will get fed-up start an underground network of strip clubs and they WON'T be regulated. It'll go the same way as respectable bars turned into sleazy speak-easies.

Why on earth would they go out and do real police work where they would actually have to protect us...and put themselves at risk, when they could sit back in a comfy chair at a club, see boobies all around them, play big shots with money (taxpayer money btw) and then after they've all had their fun with the girls, bust them and pretend to be saints!!! Its good work if you can get it.

Real police work takes too much effort.lol
Went to Little Darlins' last week. I love strip clubs and at the rate I was losing at the casinos, I figured I'd actually save some money this way :)
At the hotel, the guy that organizes the taxis/passengers asked me where I was going and when the cab pulled up he said to the driver "Little Darlins' and NO diversions". Obviously a reference to the cover scams I have read about in this thread.
When I got there, being from out of town I had to pay the cover charge which was $30.00 I think.
It was 2:30 pm and I was the only customer. I was immediately approached by a tall blonde girl and after we chatted for a while we went back for a dance. She told me it's $20.00 for a dance and $20.00 more if I wanted to touch. I said no to the touching and thought to myself, that I'm just going to be hustled for more and more cash at this place particularly after she asked for a tip when we were done. But that was not to be the case.
I started to meet some of the other girls and enjoyed some nice dances and conversation with Kyra and Allie and a few others. Extras were not asked for by me or even hinted at by any of the girls. Just good clean fun.
In the end, there was not really any hustle or pressure to get dances which is unlike what I am used to. A few other guys drifted in over time.
It was different not drinking alcohol at a strip bar but probably for the best as drinking at those places tends to make me get carried away and I end up drinking too much, hitting the ATM etc. I sure some of you know all about that.
Stayed for a few hours and caught a cab back to my hotel. I'm glad that I went and would certainly go back next time I'm in Vegas.

The doorman was probably just pisssed off that he couldnt divert you himself by hustling you into a limo and demanding a cut from the limo driver. When there is only one guy going to a club it is not that lucrative for the doorman or the limo drivers to divert passengers from cabs.

I thought "diversions" were when a cabbie takes "the long route" to run up the meter. I could be wrong though.
