I've tried reaching out to KayKay several times and she's always been too busy to schedule an appointment. I was finally able to get our times to align and I was sent the address. Communication was good and massage was good as well but everything else was rushed, mechanical and the whole appointment she had her resting ***** face on.
I made a one hour appointment but upon arrival I wasn't given an option but was restricted to 30 minutes only. She didn't give me an option, and the only words to come out of her mouth was "30 minutes for 120 ok".
The massage didn't feel sensual at all. She was rubbing hard and fast, no where near comfortable since she was at a pace that was borderline nuts.
The happy ending was horrible as well. Nothing leading up to the event and when she finally got him hard, she was jackhammering to the point that it was painful and she was trying to take her frustrations out on me.
I don't know how she's gotten such positive reviews if this is how she treats a first time customer? Her counterparts are a much better option and I'll never give KayKay another dime.
Tl; dr. Cold demeanor, no personality at all, not friendly, shorted me 30 minutes with no other options or discounts, and I don't think she made eye contact with me once not even after giving her the donation. Massage was decent so I'll give her a 3/10.

It becomes their regular service now a rub & tug overpriced.

It's been awhile since I last saw her, if I recall correctly she traveled back home some time in September. She is strictly legit though, but she is my 100% go to for my back pain issues and sciatica. She has always been polite and welcoming. She does a pretty good body scrub too. I'm going to have to schedule with her very soon. Be nice to her gents!
Both have been part of my regular rotation for the past 10+ years. I've always had exceptional experiences and can't recall seeing a negative review (until just recently). Both have kept their prices remarkably stable until Tara's recent increase. Both have been rightfully praised for the exceptional quality of their massage, good attitudes, and attention to customer service, with which I wholeheartedly agree based on my personal experiences. Also, both will provide (at a minimum) a great massage + L1 for their base price with no extra tip required. If you're polite and respectful, you can expect the same on subsequent visits. If you're pushy or disrespectful, they'll probably decline future appointment requests.
That being said, this hobby is inherently a YMMV endeavor. No one is in the room other than provider and client and there are multiple ways a session can go south. For example, a client might arrive substantially late for their appointment which, even for masseuses (like KK and Tara) who don't schedule clients back-to-back, could cause a time crunch and a less-than-optimal session. Another chemistry killer is pushing for services that aren't on the menu (and were never advertised as such).
Again, only the client and provider know for sure, and I can only speak from personal experience that both KK and Tara are top-notch. About Tara's new pricing, if you don't leave an extra tip then your total damage will be $200 for an hour. While I can't say for sure (YMMV, remember) I strongly suspect a good client could expect something more than basic clothed L1. So, while Tara is more expensive than your typical AMP, I would argue not excessively so. You'd have to judge for yourself whether the privacy + quality of massage + personality + arguably one of the best set of headlights in Northern Virginia is worth the extra money. I highly recommend both, but every monger will obviously need to decide for themselves.
P.S. If you become one of Tara's regulars, you may be fortunate enough to be treated to a meal. She's an excellent cook and takes pride in it. If you become one of KK's regulars, you may be treated to extra time or an extra service (like a facial or scrub) at no extra charge. No guarantees, of course, but I've been fortunate enough to have experienced both.

I needed her to loosen up the muscles on my back. After the massage she also cracked my back and neck. She states she has multiple certifications / licenses and experience as a chiropractor. The 45 min massage for $. 2 is worth it. I asked about extras, . 8 for L1 and $. 2 for L2 uncovered, which was a bit pricey for me.
There are some great AMPs out there, no doubt about it, and the Massage Parlor Reports forum has all the info about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I can't speak for others, but my biggest issues with AMPs are the lack of privacy and the number of interruptions that can happen. It's incredibly frustrating to have your masseuse leave the room several times during the session. It's also a crapshoot in terms of which masseuse you'll see, where the massage will fall on the quality spectrum, and whether you'll get the full amount of time you paid for.
Of course, you can call and schedule with a particular therapist but it's been known to happen that the AMP will say they're working when they're not. Or sometimes they'll take a walk-in while you're enroute. Bottom-line, there are a lot of variables involved which can affect the experience. And, while it may not happen that often, AMPs do get raided by LE from time to time. As someone who has been caught up in an LE raid (luckily, not arrested), that's not an experience I would wish on anyone.
Thai indies, OTOH, each (mostly) come with a full set of reviews and field reports, allowing every monger to make a fully informed decision. They can pick the Thai indie who meets their specifications with respect to price, looks, service, etc. The variables that can impact an AMP session mostly don't apply. You've also never heard of an indie, Thai or otherwise, getting raided by LE while working out of a private apt or home. That's because LE would need a warrant, which requires evidence of a felony (prostitution doesn't qualify). AMPs are much more likely to be labelled as "trafficking " organizations which makes them a bigger (and easier) target.
To be clear, it's certainly not my intent to talk down AMPs. They're great when you want something spur of the moment or you just feel like seeing someone new. And I totally get the "AMP ATF" thing, as I've also had some special women who fell into that category.
My main point is that, while AMPs can be compared to Thai Indies in terms of price, that single metric (IMO) doesn't take into account the qualitative differences between the two.

But even after quick RTFF, I don't see a lot of Thai recommendations. I've only been to "no extras" Mira in western Prince William County. So can you give any tips who to try? Feel free to PM if you'd rather keep your ATFs off the radar. Any in the Woodbridge area would really be great!

Another problem with independents is that some of them are clueless about massage so you are basically paying $. 2 to get in the door and start negotiating extras. With AMP you will only be out of. 5 if you stumble upon such place.

I think she is here for another two weeks, the experience with her keeps getting better and better every time I go see her. She's easy to text and setup an appointment, located in a very familiar area near fairoaks mall. It's a light massage, I went with nuru and her GFE experience has gotten a lot better over time with me, lots of roaming and play. Overall very enjoyable experience and conversational.
