HOWEVER, the ad in reference has a REPLY-TO link --you can contact her via BP --which will ask for your email address. Should the advertiser wish to reply to your 'reply' that's where it would go-Naturally you want to use a hobby-only email (I prefer an particular Canadian (free) service over gmail and the like, as those accts will self destruct if you don't access for 3 weeks) but there are plenty of options out there.

I've replied thru this method before and eventually traded phone numbers, which I was able to use as a basis for find a review and / or validate the advertisers name--and either gone forward or dropped it immed. All that aside, it's a personal call --if it doesn't feel 'right', that's more than enough reason to let it go.

Sure it's your hard work and your money.

Heck, if I have the time, I'd try this route, maybe waste hundreds until I find a gem, and then spend another couple hundreds to make sure the connection is established, and then may be I could spend less for future bangs.

Some prefer spending the same amount of money for things more certain, like getting a 6, 7, or above from an agency, or spending a bit less for less while still wanting a pretty face with higher score.
