What is your theory about fake profiles on SA? I personally think there are a whole lot of them. The suspicious ones always seem to have registered recently have very generic heading and "About Me". Often nothing in "Seeking" or again something super generic. Women love talking about themselves so if not hardly anything in the profile, it a red flag.

And they almost always have just one pic and it is semi professional looking. I just think there aren't that many women on there, and SA just constantly generates fake profiles and probably pays some dudes in Asia to perhaps sit and exchange a few messages. Plus of course there are fake profiles by scammers, but not even talking about those.

Plus Google just bends over backwards to share customer data with the US gov't. At least it's a little more complicated to get it from protonmail. And I don't expect to have anything incriminating in there, but it doesn't matter. Everything can be used against you, if they want.

The one time I got my account suspended was after reporting several and I did some reading on their FAQ and they state that when you report someone they will also read your messages when investigating. Reporting will just bring more scrutiny on you so I stopped doing it even when they are blatantly breaking the TOS. I won't discuss money and never even hint at PPM on there. It's very trivial for them to tell if you are on a VPN and if you do some reading on VPN's, you may realize they aren't really giving you the security you think they are. A VPN is only going to come into play if LE is looking for you and most VPN's are just going to be an inconvenience for the feds. Your activity is still being tracked, but rather than your ISP, it's your VPN provider.

Don't get me wrong, that's not a criticism, but from their perspective that's 2 strikes right off the bat. SA has a huge problem with foreign scammers convincing girls to send them bank account info (ostensibly so they can make a deposit in their accounts, but of course they drain the accounts instead). Those scammers are using the same VPN services and anonymous email addresses, so you can be sure that SA flags anyone using an IP address associated with a VPN service, just the same as they do someone who uses a protonmail address.

As for the gmail approach, I've been using the same Gmail account for years and have signed up for SA multiple times using different variations of that address using the plus sign. Never had a problem.

If it were me and I was having problems creating an account, I would take a laptop to a business with free wifi. Use that connection to create my account using a gmail address and purchase my subscription. I wouldn't attempt to use the VPN until after the premium subscription was successfully purchased. I would use the same location to renew my subscription as well. Good luck!
