When you see a SW you like, you can park on a side street off the K and approach her on foot to avoid a pick-up right on the Ave. This accomplishes a number of goals: 1. Walking means a long hike between "hot corners. " It's not like there is a SW on every corner. It might take a few passes to find one you like. Riding in a car is the best way to do this, and a lot safer.2. You get to see the SW up close and get a sense of her before making a final decision on the date.3. However, you have to make sure that your hotel wouldn't frown on bringing her through the lobby if she looks too obvious. That's why a motel is often a better option.

My only guess is that a pedestrian or nearby resident (although it bordered an abandoned industrial area and houses were a good distance away) had alerted LE, or maybe the squad car had seen us pull into the area and were suspicious. Otherwise, how did they know to sneak up on us so quickly, quietly and unobtrusively like that?

All of a sudden the beacon beam from the squad car was directly shining on us in the back seat from a 3/4 angle. All she was wearing was her undies, and I had my pants and boxers pulled completely down to the floor. She was in the process of sucking my cock. Talk about being caught red-handed! They allowed us to get dressed and then questioned us separately (a reason to get a story straight between you if you do a parking date. Very fortunately she was a burban girl just trying to make a little extra dough, and had no priors, no outstanding warrants and was carrying no drugs. My record at that time (and still to today) was squeaky clean: no tickets, no arrests, no convictions, not even a moving violation or a parking ticket.

Thoughts were racing through my head. They could certainly try to charge us with solicitation of prostitution but there was no evidence unless we incriminated ourselves. I was hoping she was smart enough not to do that, and she didn't, nor did I. However, they pressed us very hard to do so by telling us it would go a lot easier for us if we simply told them the truth. One charge I knew they may have us dead to rights on was public lewdness, although, even this might be very defensible, given where we were. Nonetheless, you can easily be charged with anything, as LE in Camden has shown us on numerous occasions. Fortunately, Philly LE have more important things to worry about to allocate time for court appearances, like robberies, shootings, battery, drug offenses and murder.

They eventually cut the SW loose and she was allowed to walk away. I thought this was a very good sign, but they kept me there for about another 30 minutes, seemingly checking out my paperwork, my record and the record on my vehicle, which I knew would all be in order and spotless. If their tactic was to scare me shitless, they succeeded. They left with a stern warning. For a long time I did no parking dates, and even today, I am extremely cautious about doing so.

The second incident involved a bad pick-up and is a primary reason why I have consistently warned against doing any pick-ups directly on the K.

I was traveling west on a side street approaching a "hot SW corner" on the K. A SW was clearly posted on the corner ahead of me. I stopped 1/4 block short of the K to get her attention, but she was focused on the traffic on the Ave and didn't turn around to see me. So, instead of driving to the corner and motioning for her to meet me further back down the block and circling back to pick her up, I did the convenient and boneheaded thing of picking her up right on the corner. This was bad for two reasons. This was a stretch of the Ave that had a fairly clear line of sight in both directions, and pulling up like that didn't enable you to see what was driving in either direction, so you were picking her up blind so to speak. The second problem was that the street dead ended at the K and you had to make a turn onto the Ave and travel for a block or two before getting off again.

When I turned onto the K I saw a squad car two cars behind me and I was thinking: "shit! " I hoped he wouldn't follow, but no such luck. He followed me for several blocks. Eventually the car directly behind me veered off and LEO was right behind me. He followed me for a few more blocks and then turned on the bubble gum machines. I pulled over, hoping against hope that it was meant for someone else, but he got out and approached my window. It was a single LEO in the car. That was a bit unusual as patrols usually travel in pairs. I noticed from his badge that his assigned district was not this district. I did not know if that meant anything in terms of his "jurisdiction" in certain matters, like this one (and I still don't know, unless a fellow monger can enlighten me and us on these legalities and / or police procedure regarding this in Philly. However, my guess was that this was better than not, and my further guess was that, since he was driving alone, that he may have likely been returning the squad car to his district HQ and just happened to see me in the process.

He checked my paperwork, inspected my car (a reason always to have this stuff in order, and ran a background check. Then he came to my window and asked me what was going on. I asked him politely if I had done something wrong, and he said "You know what I mean, " and pointed to my passenger and said: "Her. " I told him I was giving her a ride. He said, "Look, I am out here every day. I know what goes on at that corner. I saw you pick her up. " I simply said nothing. He motioned for her to get out and cut us both loose. He didn't even give us a warning, or check her for warrants, but I was still scared shitless.

Later I had a date with that very same SW and she told me she recognized the LEO and was pretty sure he recognized her. So, that may have been a primary reason he was so sure about stopping us, in addition to the obvious corner.

These stories have several instructive morals IMHO:

1. Be VERY cautious when you do a parking date. I was very lucky. You may not be so fortunate.

2. Don't do pick-ups directly on the stroll!

3. Philly LE seem to have a lot more to worry about than ticketing or arresting SWs and mongers. However, I wouldn't rely on their priorities and discretionary leniency to always cut you a break. They have bigger fish to fry on the K, like drugs and violence, but SWs don't have a pile of outstanding warrants, priors, and lock-ups for nothing.

4. When you pick up a SW, establish a consistent believable story between you as to why you are traveling together, because, if you are stopped you may be questioned separately. Stick to your stories!

5. If you are stopped, be polite, but don't incriminate yourself or voluntarily agree to a search (even if you have nothing to hide. You don't have to be a legal smart-ass, but you should appropriately exercise your 4th and 5th amendment rights and know how to do so. The links provided in this Forum to the videos on that are very instructive in this regard.

I may not always agree with your statements or care for all your reviews, but thats a matter of taste and not character. I'm glad you had the balls to admit your close calls with LE. Even though you were lucky, had the officer wanted, they could still have given you a ticket with no evidence. A ticket you would most certainly have to defend. I really appreciate this discussion because you just pointed out a few more things that new mongers need to learn, and hopefully not the way you did. The 22 rules are required reading without a doubt, but listening to a fellow monger tell it in story is priceless. Be safe and happy hunting!

I wasn't one of them, and it wasn't because I didn't think the photo gallery was a useful thing to have. I posted just two public eye candy pics in my Jersey thread this past summer, and there was an uproar about it, even though I clearly indicated she wasn't a SW, and they were taken from the rear. It just goes to show you that when you are a big target you attract a lot of "envy shrapnel" even though others may be doing the same or far worse. 2. Advertising by internet girls. 3. Commercial photos (there are a LOT of these). 4. Photos that are way too tiny to see and aren't worth opening (the gallery should show the dimensions of a photo; it would save a LOT of unnecessary time bothering to open these). 5. Self-taken amateur pics. 6. Joke photos.

If I want to gawk at hot pictures there are FAR better on line sources for that. As a monger, there is relatively little useful I can glean from the photo gallery. If I want to find real SWs in other cities, with a few exceptions, SW pics are posted very few and far between. If I want to find real SWs right here in Philly and Camden, we have one of the most well documented pic collections of any city in the country, but about half of that in terms of number of SWs, reports and pics are already contributed by yours truly.

So, the bottom line is that having the photo gallery or not having the photo gallery is not a big deal to me. It is nice to have, but it could be a lot better in many ways, just like many aspects of this website could be better. I have made such suggestions in the past both publicly and privately, but after your recommendations seem to fall on deaf ears at a 100% rate, the effort soon loses its appeal. I have endlessly appealed to have a SW index back, and even volunteered to administer it. Hearing zero response on this over and over, I finally decided to do what needs to be done when you are trying to get someone to do something and they don't do it: you do it yourself. So, I created my own alphabetic index by year and by stroll to every SW report and pic series I have ever done. I am thinking of doing the same regarding different subjects I have written about here, because it has accumulated into quite a body of work.

The experiences made me more cautious. I have missed many great finds while observing some bonehead doing a U-turn right on the Ave and pulling up to a SW posted on the K for a pick-up. It isn't worth the risks IMHO. She won't be the first good looking SW I will miss and she won't be the last. I contend that it is much better to be safe than sorry in such matters.

I am not everybody's cup of tea in terms of writing style or pic posting. However, I tend to be a little mellower these days about constructive criticism. I warn you in advance that certain things aren't likely to change if anyone complains about them: I will continue to regale you with my particular love for saying and hearing certain kinds of dirty talk; if you don't like it, "get it, " or care for it, I guess that will have to be your tough luck. Also, I do many multiple-hour, multiple-cup dates. You can believe it, disbelieve it or whatever, but it is a fact and you will likely continue to hear about it. If you think my reports are too lengthy, or use too many big words, I am not trying for the Pulitzer prize. I actually speak and talk that way, and I have a penchant for detail in my reports as a way of transporting both me and the reader back to the experience as it occurred. I use a "rating system" at the end of every report as a standardized way for someone just to shortcut having to read the whole report by skipping down to the bottom and reading the basic facts and determining if this is a girl they want to consider dating. I used to post bunches of pics together with a report. I have changed this approach to 10 at a time, and spread over time. I have further changed that to posting a variety of types of pics and angles in each set of 10 to provide visual variety. This must be working because the view count of each pic on the gallery is MUCH higher than it used to be. They are the same types of pics, just arranged and timed in a different order, so that must be the reason for greater interest in looking at them. I have tried to consider everyone's needs in this process. However, to paraphrase Abe Lincoln: you can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. :D

I read certain books because of the authors writing style and pass on ones I don't. People should learn to do the same here! My only criticism is you tend to make generalized attacks for being lazy and non-contributing, to which I am neither. Rock throwers deserve it, and you may not direct your remarks intentionally, but we're not all bad guys here and that sends a negative vibe that may keep people from posting. I think your a good guy and look forward to more discussions.

Good point about a motel being a better option than a hotel as I had not really thought about that while sorting through places to stay.

I hope to sample maybe a few of the girls you have been with and will let you know when I complete my trip.

The scene here in Charleston has grown rather quiet because of the fact that there is only a 1/4 mile stretch of strolling activity that is left in this city. Police made 30 arrests in that area last month alone doing stings. So I will be a little gun shy in other words LOL.

People have reasons for what they do or don't do. If I didn't enjoy mongering and reporting about it and contributing pictorials as a hobby, then I wouldn't do it. I am certainly not getting PAID for it! LOL

You make a valid point and I will try to reserve my venom appropriately in the future for the rock throwers. I have to keep in mind that rock throwers tend to be low- or non-contributors, but not all low- or non-contributors are rock throwers. But I think you would be better served to travel the K by car to do so. You may have a "hood look, " but you are not immune from possible perils. In some ways I might even be safer than you if I were inclined to do this. I have seen drug activity come to a complete standstill when I appear on certain K corners. There is often an immediate assumption that I am undercover LE. I must look the part because I have heard that from numerous SWs who were absolutely unable to cop when I was in the vicinity, and most SWs that I pick up for the first time are very wary of the same.

Besides being safer, driving is also a lot more efficient for your purposes than walking IMHO. I also don't think the "interviews" would be of interest or help to many readers here. I think most just want to see and hear about the actual performance of good SWs to try, or mediocre / bad SWs to avoid.

I believe that you take some big risks walking the K to ask questions and take pics. Word would soon get around on this and who knows what bad dudes or gals or other dangers could befall you, not to mention the LE attention you might attract.

I prefer to take my pics in private. I admire that Street Steve gets a number of his pics on the "street" as might seem appropriate to his screen name. It helps identify many of the girls in their "natural habitat. " But, I am pretty sure he doesn't walk the stroll to do this.

I am writing a book, and part of that book is about my experiences on the K. More background information on the working girls on the Ave would be very useful to me in this regard. Pics would also be useful as illustrations. Without signed releases, however, the entries would have to be anonymous and pic-less. I know from discussions with many of the girls, that several of them would be pleased to tell their stories and sign releases for both the rights to publish their stories and pics. If you wanted to pursue your "contribution" in that way, then I think there are some interesting possibilities. Many readers here may not want "interviews" with SWs clogging up the threads dedicated to performance reports about them and pics of them. However, a separate thread for that purpose is a very interesting thought, and I would personally be very interested in such material, most especially if it came with signed releases.

It isn't often that one can get a BJCIMSP for the price of two Big Macs! The recession and the desperation of some SWs to get high apparently does have its advantages. It was both pathetic and funny at the same time that she couldn't get straight about spitting your load out the window as opposed to leaking it onto your balls and pants! For ten bucks, however, you have to realistically expect that your provider is no Einstein, and you have to give her a little "training." :D

PS: I see you easily were able to follow my directions for embedding a single large pic to attach with your report, not that you wouldn't have eventually figured it out all by yourself. ;)

You are right about the natural habitat thing. Sometimes, but not always, they can look sexier and more raw on the streets-standing there in their street clothes, thinking they are Hotties, with trash and broken glass about. I am glad someone here "got" what I was trying to do. You are right about me driving. I do walk the K a lot but not when I am taking pictures.

My advise to anybody who wants to do it is this: throw anywhere between 2-5.00 for their trouble and be really quick about it. Cameras make everybody nervous. Take your pictures and get the *f* out of Dodge!

It certainly is much more difficult for them to target you as a visiting white monger, especially if you have tinted windows. However, we can't look past the fact that Camden has a very high crime rate, particularly robbery. I would be VERY careful about doing a parking date there either day or night.

Left click the tab at the top right with the green circle with a plus sign in it that says "Add Files"

At the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up that appears is "Basic Uploader; " left click on that; you will get the familiar looking "Browser" box for adding an image from your computer.

Add the image you want and left click "Upload"

The image will show up in the "Attachments" area at the bottom of the page (if you add more than one pic to the attachments section, they will show up as icons with titles attached to your post; just selecting ONE pic will attach it as a large image to your post)

Left click "Done"

Proceed as usual to submit your post.

The image should appear as a large embedded one with your post

When multiple pics are attached to a post, no thumbnail images appear as with the old software, but rather just icons that show they are pics, the title of each pic and the number of views. Maybe there is a further software enhancement in the works for showing multiple pic attachments as thumbnail images like before and maybe not. I don't know. I would imagine that a useful feature like this can be added, but we shall see.

The new software does have a handy feature of showing an alphabetic index of pics under each thread, which you can access by left clicking on the attachment icon (the paper clip) on each thread. That is a reason I have started to label each pic beginning with the SW's name, then a number, then a description of the pic so that you know the content of each pic both in each post and in the index before you click on it to view it. Of course, you also have the indexes I have created with links to every one of my SW reviews and pic sets, alphabetically by stroll and by year, complete with my overall ratings of each SW and a description of what is in each pic set.
