Only once was I pleasantly surprised by a legit place where my boys were handled. Those are the best. Hard to find, but great either way. There are two places in Pasadena that I used to frequent that have since turned semi-legit. The place on Fair Oaks and on Lake. Owned by the same person. Others may charge that much for 30 minutes. $100-120 is the going rate for FS tipping all over the region, but you could probably negotiate it at least to $80 in "Purple" and most of the SGV spots. The best reviewed MPs in the SGV for years are definitely HT and probably Green and Palm Tree, all 3 in Baldwin Park. All charge $80-90 to the house for an hour, and expected tip will be at least $100-120, but they will probably haggle with you for more if you take the full hour. The well reviewed FS place in the strip mall with Monarch's in COI is also $90 at the door for an hour. All the top spots for pretty young girl FS in central LA and the SFV are going to cost you $140-160 for 30 minutes, and $180-200 for an hour, combining house and tip. Ha! I've been lurking here for over 10 yrs, back when yodaman (is that how you spell his name?) was still very active. I didn't realize that I have not posted anything til I saw the big "1" on the post count.
I understand that $35 is a good deal for a 1 hr massage. I went to the the MPs in BP and COI, like Green and Golden Sea Spa back in the days. The problem is not the pricing. For $120, we can get HOT spinners with bolt-ons, or Huge natural baby feeders at those korean girl places. Remember Shanghai spa? Or the one a little down vally? About a block or so west, make a left, and right there on the left side!
