This was said over 50 years ago by one of the leading political authors of that time. Today's media is our enemy, indeed THE enemy, for progressives and conservatives alike. There are no more Huntley-Brinkleys or Cronkites or Sevareid's, only drama seeking hysterical media ****** who are driving this country off a cliff. They love to be a part of the Sex Nazi gang because of the drama, not because they give a shit about any righteous cause. They would slit their grandmother's throat for a scoop.


BTW, the spell check wouldn't allow the word I wanted to use, appropriate enough though it is. The word's first two letters are wh for those who are sharp enough to figure it out.

Apparently Fl officials used what's called a sneak and peek warrant to set up cameras. The Google suggests this kind of activity is fair game under the patriot act. But thankfully sneak and peeks aren't allowed in Georgia just yet. Video surveillance was thrown out in the Dunwoody bust last year. Just hope the GA legislature doesn't get too anxious about changing things. Still getting caught up in this will leave one with a lot of explaining.

I'm not giving rides to the airport, or to the bus station any more.

Seems a refrigerator full of food in the workplace means people live there (my employer should have been busted). Or providing a ride to someone with a suitcase as they arrive / depart town is also somehow suspect.

I pulled into the old Waffle House turned something else and something just did not feel right so I turned and headed home. Not 5 minutes later I am being pulled over on I-20. The copy came up shining his flashlight all inside my SUV, I put my window down, I'd in hand and asked what was up. He stated a robbery was reported with a vehicle matching my vehicle. I politely and jokingly said, "Bullshit, I was pulled over because of my turn around off FIB. " He smiled and said yep, you did that in front of an unmarked. I told him I needed some coffee but once I pulled in the parking lot, did not feel safe and headed out. My military retired stickers probably helped some, but he did laugh and warn me that was not a good neighborhood to get coffee.

While I hear the Shut Up advice, if you can think fast on your feet and defuse the situation with a bit of humor, might help. Just never admit to what your real purpose was.

"There was no mention of a 'sneak and peek' warrant in the application or affidavit or order authorizing video surveillance, (Judge) Flake stated. The only way to get such a warrant in Georgia is if the DA makes a written application and it is approved by a judge. Flake ruled none of these rules were followed. "

They were being discreet not hurting anybody. DeKalb was basing those arrests on "trafficking", but there wasn't anything even close to "trafficking" going on. Nobody was saved and many ended being hurt. Absolutely no point.

It was an 8 month investigation. If abuse / human trafficking were obvious they would have busted the place within the first week. Law Enforcement has gone on record saying that it's hard to charge someone with human trafficking. Why? Does it ever occur to anyone that maybe Law Enforcement might be in on the trafficking?
