Harbor is very long and busy street with plenty of places for the girls to work. The apartments played little if any role in reduction of SW's on Harbor blvd. The main reason is because the girls chose to work in such a small area. All the traffic & girls upset a lot of the locals.

Did anyone cruise Beach Saturday night? It was probably the most active I've seen it in maybe 2 or 3 years. I was out from 11:00 to about 2:00 am before I called it a night. I'd really like to know what the SW scene on Beach was like back in the day. I'm in my 40's and remember seeing the adult theatre near Beach and La Palma (I think the current site is a skate shop) and the. 25 cent arcade also on Beach near orange wood (current site are condominiums). I even read about Voluskys theatre and an infamous kidnap / murder in the 1950's (current site is Ken Grody Ford).
