The ise of a fungible commodity (gas) is not set by the commodity bit by something related to it, like perceived quality, ease of access, extra products or services (clean restrooms).

Guys choose a parlor based on the services provided, but among the ones that provide the desired services, the decision will be based on price, location, etc.

The prices at HR are different from White Lotus not based on service but based on the quality of the girls. But, the prices aren't that much more because one can go to Orange and get same service with similar girls. Some guus will go to WL instead of HR for the table shower, an added service.

It's not unique to prostitution. Lawyer sucks? Hire another. Spa girl won't suck? Find one who will. What these guys are saying is that prostitution is a kind of labor so special and unique that it behaves in ways that completely defy the standard rules of economics. I don't see it and there's zero evidence for it.
