Hypothetically if I had seen the recently arrested duo over the summer, do the stings typically go as far as to look through the old phone records and track numbers down? I've read that it's highly unlikely and more dependant on the location, but I don't know much about here. Seems like faulty grounds to pursue but does anyone know more than me? Like I said, just curious.

Like I said, just curious.[/QUOTE]I doubt it. One drunken night before I was well versed in the hobby I stopped by an AMP by my house. I used a credit card for the base fee. No extras had but a couple months later that AMP was shut down. I knew one of the deputies at the county that shut it down. He likely wasn't involved in the case. Given that I stupidly used my credit card, I was worried either he would find out or I would be called in to answer questions. Neither of those ever happened.

Hopefully, in your hypothetical situation you used a drop or burner phone. If not, lesson learned.

Something about the whole thing does not pass the smell test. Sis pleas, wife takes it to trial, hubby charged. Think Sis is playing with the Uncle. Prob why it went on so long. She was prob giving up what she knew to stay out of the HamCo Hilton.

Probably not all done with the headlines since it is election time. Hopefully, your average monger is not worth the trouble for Uncle LEO. Now if you are a Fire Chief or political......Maybe lie low! Hypothetically.
