When I first got there she told me to wait in the lobby and she would text me the room number, while I waited for a couple minutes there was no one to be seen anywhere. When I pulled out of the parking lot later there were 3 people in the lobby and they appeared to know each other by the way they were talking.[/QUOTE]Any experienced guy who says they never got ripped off for being a dumb ass is either lying or could probably explain nuclear fission. Most of these gals are basically okay, and will at least try to offer a good experience. But it is your job to avoid putting yourself in situations where you can be ripped off like that. This girl was probably marginal, and would have followed through if you hadn't given her such an easy "out". I won't even pay up front, because it is the best way to get poor service. Once she has your money, there is much less incentive to perform. But it can be thrilling to hook up with an unknown, unproven gal and really get it on. You seem to be aware of the lesson this gal taught you, so just chalk it up to experience and move on. Better luck next time.

Swami hit on a couple of other good points. Don't pay up front. It is asking for a rip off or poor performance (which is still a rip off). Admittedly, the girls have similar fears about guys leaving after getting what they want and not paying. If you get someone who insists on payment up front either agree to "half up front" only or just leave. You still have your money if you leave.

I also agree that she might have / probably would have followed through if she hadn't had the opportunity to dash. But, it very well might not have been a good time if she had stayed.

There are a couple of places on here to look for guidance regarding escort mongering. Sticking with well-reviewed providers will help too (at least until you get the hang of it). I wish you luck with your next attempt. Don't give up, there are some really nice and fun girls out there.

Lastly a warning to all, [U]stay away from the Travelodge in Newport[/U]. Over the years I have been in the Hobby, I have [B][U]never[/U][/B] heard anything good about that place. In fact, I have been explicitly warned by a provider who lived in Newport most of her life and later lived in Covington to avoid that place no matter what. So, I am passing that along.

And remember, you always have the option to leave before you commit to anything... (if she is not the girl in the ad, if she tries to upsell, if she wants the money upfront, if your "spidey sense" goes off, if you see someone lurking, or any other reason that things don't go the way you think they should). You may leave with blue balls, but you will leave with your money. And you may save yourself from other potential problems.

Don't take this wrong, but this is a perfect example of when a hobbyist should cut his losses and get out. You paid $$ to get in the door and then she wanted $$ more for a blowie? That's when I would have left and considered the first $$ a lesson learned, but then again, I would not have paid the first $$ to anyone who posts phony pics. Over my career I have given a number of women $20 "gas money" when the lady who showed up at my hotel wasn't the lady in my ad.
