Amanda is the petite, short haired, lip ringed girl mentioned here and in Massage Parlor reviews. She is only available from 7 am to 4 pm weekdays, which is when most of the working world is at work (including me). Go figure. Anyway, since I had the day off for the Holiday I figured I'd go see her. Reviews are mostly positive. A few emails and the appointment was confirmed. She gave me a 30 minute window just to be sure since she had someone booked ahead of me. No problem for me. There's several places near her to get a cold beer and wait for the text to come on. I get near her location pretty much right at the start of my window and let her know I'm near. No hurry just let me know when you're ready. Soon 15 min go by, 30 min, then 45. I send a message asking for an update. To her credit she answers back and apologizes she's running late but she's had problems with people showing up on time today. She then asks if we can reschedule. I ask when (thinking maybe later in the day) and she says 7 am to 4 pm any weekday. Not going to work for me so I'm out time and gas chasing her today.

I fault her for failing to recognize she was heading for trouble when her previous appointment was so late he was encroaching on my time. In my opinion, HE should have been rescheduled. I was at the pre-determined location and ready. I do appreciate the fact she answered and let me know why she was canceling. Nonetheless, I could have taken my money and time elsewhere had I known I was going to get canceled.

On a positive note, I've just poured the first shot from a top shelf bottle of Tequila purchased with Amanda's money. It's going to be a Popeye kind of night (except I won't be leaving the house). Maybe tomorrow I'll go see Valencia.

Plus, if they had good time management skills they'd probably have a real job.
