But its illegal, and the website many of them use is joining forces will law enforcement to crack down on the crime.
Craigslist.com is the website in question. We found many men and women from Greenville to Spartanburg selling sex. But it may soon be harder.
40 states, including South Carolina, are joining forces with the site and the center for missing and exploited children to combat prostitution online.
Not only are they trying to clean up the posts, but the bigger concern is the human trafficking of children. Kids being pimped out are often found and sold online.
Under the new agreement, spearheaded by State Attorneys General, the site will require posters to pay for those ads with a valid credit card and register other personal info, providing a roadmap for authorities to quickly track down sex traffickers or prostitutes. They also know this will reduce those who post on the site.
In addition to this, Craigslist is looking into technology to block inappropriate images.

I lurk here quite a bit and thought I'd try to join the discussion a bit more. I been a semi-regular customer of the AMP scene in Columbia for a couple of years. I've never had any interest in street action and got tired of the local strip clubs long ago.
Anyway...
I have been to Lotus quite a few times and always get a high quality massage. The table showers seem to be kind of hit or miss for me as does the possibility of a good finish. I kind of get the vibe that some of the crew just doesn't go that route except fore regulars and my visits and who I see when there are sporatic. Has anyone tried the new massage/tanning place? A convo I had with one of the girls at Lotus makes me think the same people own both of those locations.
I used to frequent NE much more often but it seems that lately when I go the service has dropped off a lot and the experience feels rushed. You can always get a finish there but it isn't always an overall great use of the money.
