But a place for reviews and contact information. You can search for a specific city such as Annandale and see providers from that area, their contact information and their reviews. You can also tag a provider as a favorite and when you login you can see if she has new reviews.

BP and CL weren't perfect but they were both simple to navigate, clear in format, and good at showing the most current advertisers while also (BP) allowing sticky ads for which providers paid a premium. And it was those kinds of features, and the ease of use and accessibility, that helped them achieve critical mass.

Why reinvent the wheel? Even a blatant copy should do fine as I doubt either BP or CL would be in a hurry to sue for any kind of infringement. To date, nobody has really risen to the challenge. Many are trying but, IMHO, none are succeeding.[/QUOTE]

Both [URL]backpage.ly[/URL] and [URL]onebackpage.com[/URL] are fine as escort sites, because that's immediately what you get when you go to them. Both feature the adult section prominently at the top and both are quick to show premium adult ads even when you haven't searched for them.

So, as I said in my earlier post, there still aren't any good sites for the CMT-quality FBSM providers who prefer not to advertise on sites geared toward escorts. So that's what I meant when I said no one has yet stepped up to the challenge of creating a true BP or CL replacement. Hopefully that'll change but right now I'm not seeing anything I think has the potential to achieve critical mass.

So what sites are mongers using these days now that Backpage is down and Craigslist has discontinued its therapeutic services section? As I mentioned in the massage parlor forum, time and money have been in short supply for me but I've looked over some ads to see who's out there. Adult Search and Live Escort Reviews seem to have some promise. A lot of the ads I've seen at Backpage ly, Bedpage and City X Guide appear to be even more dubious than the Asian crapshoot ads which dominated Backpage the last couple of years. And Adult Look had ads from providers whom I thought were retired. A couple of examples: I saw ads from Rachel, the leggy brunette who gave overpriced body rubs in Bethesda, and Sara, aka Swedish Sweetheart, who was based in South Florida but frequently traveled to this area. I understood Sara retired during the winter of 2016-17 and I hadn't seen Rachel advertise for over a year. Either they came out of retirement or Adult Look's ads are old.

Since this thread is BP specific, I figure most of the info will become stale over time. It won't be completely useless, though; if you look closely at done if the URLs, the number of providers were in there sometimes.

I've been relying on the same sites you've mentioned, eros, slixa, and onebackpage. No site has anywhere near the volume of BP before it went down, though.

Switter. At seems to be getting some movement. I think it has the potential to outdo BP as it's more a social network. I've seen a few reliable providers on it.

I'm all for spreading the word thru hobbyists and providers to make it a "go to" site.

Next, with the caveat that nothing in the advertising scene is as good as it was, here are a few that don't completely suck (not sure about current protocols so I'm not posting full links).

About eros, with the lack of good alternatives, some reasonably priced ladies have started posting although they may quote a higher price in their eros ad. For example, I recently found a provider (not in VA) on a different site with a 300 donation amount, but when I contacted her she quoted me 125/250 and afterwards I found her eros ad with a 400 list price.

About cityxguide and adultlook, they're worth checking out as long as you have your fake-ad and outdated-ad radar sensitivity set to high. With cityxguide, for example, I ignore pretty much every ad that doesn't list a specific city as a location. For example, if an ad just says "Northern Virginia" or "District of Columbia" it's very likely to be fake. But if it says "Falls Church" or "Alexandria" then it's likely to be the real deal. I also ignore any ad that has an email (usually gmail) as the contact method. Those seem to be all bogus.

I guess that I should have waited until things settled down but I was thinking with my little head. I checked on a lot of sites but adultsearch seemed to have the most potential providers.
