I wouldn't recomment that as a newbie but I got pretty damn good directions from a friend that takes you through the mountains on Jamao al Norte and it's a pretty fast trip. Anyway, spent my nights in Sosua and days in quiet Cabrete. Man oh man you want to talk about fine peices of ass walking around EVERYWHERE. PLUS, its so fuckin cheap. Right now, the going rate for an overnight is $90 (about DOP $3500) and this is ony the high side. You can negotiate with a pro at one of the many bars for about DOP $2000 to sleep over. People will say to stay out of the man bars but personally, I like the professionalism and the fact that I KNOW I will be getting quality service. Why? Because you pay the club not the girls and if they don't perform, you complain and they won't get their cut. I deal with La Passion Bar when I'm in Sosua. Very nice place and prices are on point. $90USD for an overnight if you take them around 10pm. After 1, it drops to $65USD. Even have a website. They say you take one trip down and you slap yourself when you get back for paying the prices these hoes charge up here. BTW, saw Sandy and Dilenia my last trip down.
