Maybe I am wrong but many of the men on here are professional people and if they are like me they like to make an initial contact via e-mail. I've done this long enough to know what to ask and what not to ask, etc. What boggles my mind, however, is that so many of the ladies:

A. Do not respond to e-mails at all. I find this to be incredible. So many of them are looking to build up their businesses. I'm recognizing that many of them get a lot of email and that they will 'waste' a lot of time on this. However, if they respond to emails, even with a standard 'copy and paste' response, I suspect many of them will increase their business significantly. I find that if a lady cannot extend the courtesty of a reply, I am greatly reluctant to call them on the phone.

B. Give no information whatsoever in the email. Ladies who will not discuss standard rates or approximate location are, at least to me, people I usually do not choose to see. And I'm not talking about rates for FS, etc. I'm talking about rates. Period.

C. Okay, the last one is picky, but at least be coherent gramatically.

My overall thought is this. If you seek a professional client base, at least make an attempt to respond in a professional manner.

In those cases where it is not I cannot imagine her answering those questions for every Tom, Dick and Harry at the initial contact stage. I figure she will tell me what I need to know when I need to know it. This approach has always worked for me.

Surprisingly, however, many ladies do not include this basic information and that is what I'm usually looking for. Frankly, they can write up a standard response and just paste it in. I know it probably gets tedious but I would think it's good for business. But again, this is just my opinion.
