Laws apply to state and local jurisdictions. They aren't all universal. I am aware from some of my own legal research that in "some jurisdictions." just being in a high crime area can constitute probable cause for a search. In any case, you have a right to assert your 4th amendment right against illegal search and seizure simply by stating you do not voluntarily consent to a search. There is no reason to get childish and cop an attitude that you will "take your toys and go home" and stop reporting LE activity just because certain aspects of your post have been questioned.
