Does anyone have any more information on Pinks, at the old HT? Last I heard (via a SGV Tribune article) there was some kind of zoning issue, like the non-conforming use license that was given to HT had elapsed without any other owner taking over the property and Industry was pressing a lawsuit. Has any information after that come out?

"City of Industry laws prohibit adult businesses within 250 feet of residences. The other COI strip clubs are far enough away but this location is within 250 feet of some homes.
HT had a waiver that allowed it to continue. That waiver was going to expire at the end of this year and that may be the reason it closed. The lease was up and the owner may have believed there was no point in renewing it because he would not be able to get that waiver again."

Or the new owners will just say F* it and cut their losses?

There probably were more disturbances from the bars next to it. Just an excuse to drive them out!
