Look at Senator David Vitter, he had no idea something he did years ago would come back and bite him in the ass. Granted, celebrities and politicians are under closer scrutiny than us regular Joe Sixpacks, but I am of the belief that if you are going to break the law, you shouldn't leave a trail. I agree that a cop cannot arrest you just because your name appears in a madam's "Black Book" or an agency's "Client List", but it is a starting point for them to keep an eye on you. I definitely do not recommend ever giving out personal info.
