Monday 930-1030 PM. So what was the deal with the black guy in the bright red grocers apron patrolling/walking the DP area near the library and Holiday Inn?
He seemed to be taking notes when I first saw him and later I watched him talk to the few girls that were out. After he talked to them the girls disappeared and never came back out. There were maybe 5 girls when he arrived and none when he finally vanished.

It was very strange. He made a point of making unpleasant eye contact with every car that circled the area. And the bright red apron only confused me more. Anyone else see that? Am I on some nightvisionpsychobillyvigilante ho-mart realitycableshow footage now?

Hargow, I enjoy reading your reports, but I gotta disagree here. According to Dale Carson, author of the excellent book [b][i]"Arrest-Proof Yourself,"[/i][/b] employers do have access to FBI info about arrests.

By the way, Dale was a Miami police officer who set Florida records for felony arrests. He later became an FBI field agent. Today, he works on the other side as a criminal defense attorney.

Also, local and state laws allowing for the expungement of certain misdemeanor arrest records are nice, but these local and state laws have no jurisdiction over federal law, federal agencies, and federal resources like the NCIC computers. The local and state laws also don't address private databases owned by information-gathering companies. - Rosco

There may be one way to avoid the claws of the NCIC, but Dale's writing is a little vague on this. He seems to say in another part of the book that if you are issued a "Notice To Appear" or issued a "Penal Citation" instead of being formally "Arrested," you may avoid being uploaded into the NCIC computers, but only [b][i]IF[/i][/b] charges against you are dropped, or you are not convicted. However, if you are formally arrested, you'll still be in the NCIC's computers even if charges are later dropped and even if you are not convicted.

Incidentally, a "Notice To Appear" is different than a "Penal Citation," and both are different than an "Arrest." Dale Carson wrote a great book. It's highly recommended.

As Carson says, the best thing you can do if a police officer is about to arrest you for a petty offense like soliciting prostitution is to ask, beg, and cry for a penal citation or a notice to appear. But even then, you may not escape the digital clutches of the NCIC. - Rosco

If it were me, I'd book a flight to San Diego. The weather is fabulous, there are lot's of things to do. For mongering, I'd walk across the border into Mexico and take a cab to Zona Norte and hit up the Chicago Club and Adelitas. A lot of great-looking and hot young girls will be hitting on you and the price is right. Drink a few beers, have some good sex, and then return to the safety and comfort of San Diego.

I went out cruising Denny/Hostess at about 9pm on Thursday evening and found nothing out walking in the rain. I did a few laps, then decided to head up Aurora. Wasn't much out on Aurora, either, but somewhere just a bit north of the KK near one of the auto dealers I spotted a blonde wearing a hooded sweatshirt and tight jeans. I grew up with TJ as my view for many years. Civ is right this is also a good place to go, you have TJ to the south, you also have what SD has to offer and there is always LA and surrounding cities/counties that is less than a 2 hour drive and Vegas is a fast 4 hour drive. You could do a mini tour :)
And last time I was in Florida, which was 10 years ago, Orlando was good and so was Miami.

Girls will get into any vehicle as long as they can see all the way inside. I drove a minivan for several years and it was never an issue. In fact, I think it might have made things easier as SW probably looked at me thinking I was a dad on the prowl (even though I'm single).

Here's a great tip. I bought a minivan and had captain's chairs installed in the second row instead of regular seating. It cost quite a bit more, but it was well worth it. The trick is to remove one of the seats and leave it in your garage. This will give you TONS of room to do absolutely whatever you want. I'm a big guy, and space and maneuverability was no problem.

My minivan was totaled a few years ago and I bought a much smaller car. However, I still have the captain's chair I removed sitting in the corner of my garage! Ah, the memories!
