Massage Parlor Reports

A little late on these but better than never. Visited Woodmere about a month ago and had a good time with Gigi (sp? Used the table shower but it took a long time to fill / warm up / whatever. Spent an awkward period sitting in a towel just waiting and that time was definitely part of the hour. Massage and flip were great though. Almost all communication was through her phone translator.

Also went to 3257 and saw Vicki for an hour. English was OK, said she had only been up from Chicago for a few days at that point. Massage was nice but she haggled some extra $ out of me at the flip. I wasn't at 100% brain power right that second, what can I say. Everything after that was good though.

I haven't had an excuse to head to Benzonia so no idea on things out that way. Was thinking about giving the new one on 4 mile a shot but have been reading about some difficulties there so I'm not sure.

It was hard sell negotiations almost from the moment you put your head down on the table. With other options in town now I will choose to not go here. I default to Woodmere simply because there is no to minimal negotiations. I have seen Didi the last couple of times. Pretty accommodating and is always happy with what I tip, much better arrangement.

I was able to try one of the new spas in TC this week, Q Spa. I saw Amy who was good looking and tall, I would guess somewhere in her 30's. I opted for the Table Shower which was another 10 above the 60 hh. Table shower was nice and she made sure I was squeaky clean with some nice teasing. Massage was decent but didn't last too long as I got a bit excited and moved to the HE fairly quick. She provided a nice HJ and allowed roaming with the tip matching the door fee. I'll be back.

I stopped by the Benzonia Spa recently. New girl since my last visit in December. Her name is Ku-Ku. Decent massage and she wasn't watching the clock. I'll be happy to repeat. The usual suspects can PM for details. SG.

I tried out the table shower a Q yesterday. IMHO it was worth the extra $10. YMMV, monger on! SG.

Two more AMP's will be opening in Traverse City this upcoming week, to compete for your dollars. They are both owned by the same person. Dream Massage will open at E. Eighth Street. It is located 2 buildings west of Mimi's T. C. Asia Massage, and will be giving her stiff competition. The second new location is named Luck Massage Asian Massage. It is located on Hastings Street. A one hour massage at either of these two new locations will be $80 per hour. Neither will have table shower. They both should have their Google listings online now, which will show the address number and phone number information. Again, these are not yet open, but they hope to be opening this upcoming week.

Did do a couple stretches towards end of massage but didn't really fix any of places I hold my stress. Would recommend for a light relaxing massage. If I had a choice between her and Mimi's next door. Probably would choose Mimi's as she works your issues.

Also, I didn't ask but google is putting Dream Massage & Luck Massage at the same location. Which is little confusing. I didn't think about asking her about it at the time.

That includes getting ready and getting dressed. She did offer extras but didn't go through and still expected the tip for it. I paid to keep things kosher of course, but it was a ripoff. The massage itself felt like an amateur. She worked my back so differently that I felt lopsided when I left. I would never repeat that experience. I severely hope YMMV for the better for anyone else trying that place.

It's been awhile since anyone has posted anything about the other Asian Spas in the area. I know the options for massage in the area has exploded in this area and they have seemed to put them right next to some of the ones that were here before these options were here. Are any of us visiting these places and have options there expanded?? Some of the places are (and I won't use full name) Hapy Fet, Kay's and Asian on 8th. If anyone is still visiting them still could you let me know as the massage at these places are 100% better but HE were self service at best.

Maybe the worst massage I've ever had and she tried to get a couple extra bills at the flip. Ended up finishing but that was pretty terrible too. Ended up cutting me loose after 45 minutes including disrobing time etc. Not sure if that's why this location isn't advertising any more but I wouldn't recommend it if there are any other options.

Don't know who was asking about it, but a few months ago I did receive FS at one of the parlors around town. Wasn't anything to write home about so I've kept forgetting to post about it, LOL. PM me for more info if you want.

Never got a name, but another new person which is the common thing with all these places. Massage was poor to say the least. Very light, did different things on different sides of the body, virtually no tease and a below average ending. All of this and shorted me on my hour. Disappointing, especially since I have been here 5-8 times. Oh well the search is back on.

Been to Woodmere location about 8 times. A few earlier times I was shorted 10-15 minutes. Then connected with Didi, and another worker there. Both did very good job, didn't short my time and were very good on the flip. It was my go to place. If it was good service, with full time given me, I would tip. 6. When it was exceptionally good service, and I got full time given me, I would go as high as. 8. Both Didi and the other worker was always happy and gave big smiles. They were very appreciative, and so was I. The last time I was there, Didi was my therapist, and the massage was more mediocre. Then when it came to the flip she wanted 1. 0. Oh hell no. I said no way, and backed it down. It pissed me off that she was trying to squeeze me for that amount. Especially after being such a good repeat customer. She accepted my lesser offer, which I at first thought was a good sign, until she greatly reduced the service, staying out of reach, and far from access over or under the clothes. WTF! I was so pissed off, and frustrated by this move, I should have stopped right there, and called an end to the session. I didn't however, and I didn't drop down from my agreed upon tip, but I should have done that too. This was about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't been back. So very disappointed with this place now. Was hoping that they would have a changeover of crew, and I would give them another chance, but from these recent reports, it sounds like the new crew is even worse. <sigh> .

I used to frequent woodmere and 3257 a lot. I was a good repeat customer at both. I stopped going to both a couple weeks ago cause they just keep jacking the prices on the flip up. It's so expensive now, it's cheeper to just get an independent, if you catch my drift. I went on strike with both places. Hope everyone fairs better then I did. With the current prices they want to charge, I'd rather keep my money and watch a video.

The level of enjoyment seems to boil down to YMMV. If saving $20 is going to wreck your experience then that's certainly your perrrogative. To me, the memory of these experiences last way longer than the $20. These women don't make sh*t, they work 7 days a wek, and they put up wit ugly fat mongers like us.

I greatly enjoy massage. I just place a higher value on a exceptional quality legitimate massage, with a licensed provider, that leaves me feeling great for days, and truly addresses physical issues. A low quality sensual massage, by a unlicensed therapist, with a mediocre finish can indeed be fun, but only at a certain price point. Everyone has their own preference. The high quality massage costs me $70 + 30 tip, feels great, doesn't shorten my time, and everyone is happy. A low quality massage, by a "body worker", at places like Woodmere, costing $80 + a post flip tip request of $100, that may short me 10 or 15 minutes, just isn't a worth the experience IMO. And you are correct, YMMV, but those are the two value choices that I am comparing in my mind when I decide to support one or the other.

Also curious to know anyone's experiences at Q. I went in there after work on short notice, called ahead, and was offered 4 hands. Turned it down since I didn't have enough on me to tip both girls. I believe I had Amy, was an alright experience, went for light, she was a little aggressive on my nuggets though if you get me.

Anyone here experienced their 4 hands yet? Not gonna lie, it's a dream of mine to get 4 hands with 2 girls who are [i]very[/i] good friends, but I have a feeling it'd just be L1. Curious to know if anyone's gotten anything more out of Q.

I've tried all the spas in the area always hoping for a good rub before the tug. With the possible exception of Amy at Q and Angela, long gone from the Woodmere Spa, KuKu in Benzonia is the best so far. She really gets the kinks out of my back and gives the rest of my carcass a good work-over. I always leave happy. SG.

I visited 32 XX Korea massage in TC when it first opened back in October while I was in town but I after a recent visit it seems to have changed quite a bit on what's offered. I got CFS the first time I went back in early November for $$ plus an hour door fee, went back on Monday and was offered a CBJ for $$ talked her down to $. 40. After reading some of the recent reviews it looks like what is offered has changed quite a bit. The massage itself was very good, the HE not so much.

Older lady named Lisa, nice massage really got into my muscles and left happy.

After pm'ing with some seniors on here, and thank you guys, I decided to take another shot at the AMPs up here and chose the Korean one on Racquet club. Only one person working a 50 something lady that was average looking with average body. Booked the hour at 80. Massage itself was average, nothing great, nothing terrible. Unfortunately about 20 minutes into the massage she gets a phone call and puts it on speaker and talks with some male for about 15 minutes. I don't speak any Asian dialects, so no idea what the conversation was about, but talk about a mood killer. Flip came and negotiations started. Left happy enough, but not happy enough to come back anytime soon. Back on another break until I hear that a stellar performer is in town.

I visited the 7-Day Spa on Weedmere for the first time in a long time this weekend. New lady, Sophia, took care of me. Great table shower and a massage almost as good as KuKu in Benzonia. Seniors can PM for details. I hope sophia sticks around for a while. SG.

SG.[/QUOTE]Read this nice report and decided to revisit 7-Day Spa on Woodmere today. Damn, I guess I didn't move fast enough. They are gone. Vaporized. Office area stripped to the walls, and a real estate sign was in the window! Phone number is still working, as is website and Google lisiting. Left message on phone, but did not receive a response. They were only open for 8 months. There were so many that opened so quickly this autumn, that I was certain that they would all starve. Maybe this is the first casualty.

There have been a few masseuses in the area that has impressed me but I can say that Xixi has been the best I have tried yet. Any one that is looking for a great massage with a good menu should give her a visit.

We had a Xixi in our area that was fantastic and had a special technique she would do with her feet. The place she was at shut down and I've been trying to find her ever since.

I same 50 something lady very petite and very flat on the backside. I tried to prebook a 90 minute massage a day in advance. No response back from call or text. Decided to drop-in and get a 1 hr massage. Asked for soft w / medium around shoulders. Pretty much got medium with some hard jabs all over. About 20-30 minutes into massage she got the same call from some Asian speaking male and decided to have a conversation on speaker (Complete mood killer). Flip was poor. Would not recommend till any new talent comes in.

I didn't want to believe the reviews about Racquet club so I went in myself. Same lady, even though the management told me a new girl was taking over today. The lady gave an Ok massage but a half hour into it she left the room to talk to someone for 10 minutes. I finally had enough so I just got up and left. Didn't even stay for the flip. Complete waist of money. Sorry I was skeptical guys.
