Saw this report about the folks who got arrested for prostitution at the spas.

For the Tokyo Spa, court case number 10CR0589 shows the city has confiscated the property, will demolish the building, and sell the property to Southgate Baptist Church. The owner of this building was one of the elderly ladies arrested for prostitution. A recent entry from the case shows:

I AM surprised that new places haven't popped up, because there obviously is a market for them, but I guess that the lid is just too tight.

Local LE in concert with ICE and the IRS are keeping the lid clamped tight in this area. It will probably be many years before you see another monger's MP open in this area. Best bet is to hook up with a couple of BP providers or take road trips.

Interesting that Southgate Baptist Church has purchased that land where countless thousands of guys have nutted. It'll be interesting to see what is done with it.
I have heard other stories of places around Springfield which were brothels in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In those days, prostitution was an accepted reality and there were essentially 'designated' places men went for that, separated from the rest of society.
By closing places like Miko's and Tokyo Spa, they just encourage uncontrolled street prostitution. And, like most guys, although I'the like a nice, comfortable, safe environment to relax in, I'll head out to the streets and neighborhoods to find what I want now.
Sometimes turning a blind eye to certain things and ignoring the right-wing Bible-thumpers is the better wisdom. Hopefully, the process will start again, these business will find another new home nearby, and it will take another 10-20 years before the Bible-thumpers get their way again.
Seeing Tokyo razed is no loss. That place had been one of the worst AMPs for years.
I wonder what the church has in mind for the property.
Was making a long loop yesterday and that takes me past the closed Miko's spa. Everything that was still inside is now sitting out back. Like the building spat it out. Guess the clean up to get it ready for someone else to use.

I never got a rub from any of them so I never got to see those nipples. I stopped by one day, but when one of the elderly ladies answered the door, I said "sorry, I'll come back later" and left.
