Is Silver Spa still open? I remember reading reports on it a while back and I'm looking to get back to an AMP as I have not been since my favorite York establishment closed. I'm trying to decide between Silver and Ocean and it's basically just a blind shot for me at this point.

I had occasion to pass through Reading last week, and stopped at the Sports Spa for a little break. (I had been there once before, but not as a customer.) I had a very nice time with a beautiful, buxom young woman. She did not ask for any tip monies until after the services were rendered, which I thought was strange. On my way back out to the highway, I stopped at Peace Of Mind for another round. Again, the girl did not ask for a tip up front, but waited until afterwards. In fact, if I remember correctly, I brought it up first at both locations. Was this just a coincidence, or is this the way things are done in Reading?

Don't really know how to categorize someone so intimately familiar with the
Amp scene in numerous states who professes such ignorance on basic
matters regarding LE and solicitation and prostitution charges.

Passed through the area the other night and partook in some of the local activities.

First stop was Regency but was greted by a parking lot that was apparently taken over by the dealer next door and locked door covered with cards for another business in the area. I didn't remember reading anything recently about them getting busted, I guess they must have caved to the local competition? Too bad I waited too long to try them out, the tub special really sounded like a good time.

Next up was a trip down Lancaster to Silver. I don't really like the feel of this place, but since I was there before, at least I already knew the setup. Had a good massage by Hannah, decent looks, a little older, ok english. At first it went so long without any suggestions that I thought it would be like my last visit. Things did get better when she started sensing my boredom and a good time was had for the satandard fare.

I have to say that I will be trying some of the other places next time I take my business to Reading. Silver isn't the cleanest place in that they do not change the sheets (or towels in this case) on the table between guests, and I didn't get any better impression in the shower area either. Not to mention the whole up-stairs/down-stairs layout.

I am just asking the question because, although this practice makes perfect sense in view of the legal concerns, I have NEVER had this happen to me in any other place, and I have patronized dozens of AMPs in at least 7 states. In Reading, it happened to me twice in one day. I am not trying to get a rise out of anyone.

I stopped at the Sports Spa once before to pick my girlfriend up and drive her home. That is all. I am just her boyfriend. I have no involvement in her business. Before I met her, I was just a customer, like all you other gentlemen. Since then I have seen, close up, the emotional damage that this job can do to these women. As far as I'm concerned, she could quit the AMP business today and it wouldn't be soon enough. Until then, I continue to indulge my own weakness for the Asian ladies. I trust you won't argue with that, Mr York.

I've had decent luck with takeout at both X - Streams, and now the apparently defunct Regency. It may take a little time and $ to make this happen, but, to me at least, it's a nice change of pace from the AMP's in the area. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them as well, but sometimes I like to have a conversation as well.
Unfortunately, all of the take out has dried up lately, and I haven't been around enough to pursue anything new, but, if I do, and it's ok with her, I'll let everyone know.

Was there last week and had a pleasent experience. Parking was wide open, that I was not too comfortable with. I did park around the south side of the building and used the rear entrance, so discression was maintained. Candy handled the tableshower and massage and was not a diaspointment, rather pleasent for an AMP, decent english and quite playful. Good time, FS, and cost $30 less than the previously mentioned R&T on the board.

It all comes down to Economics 101, supply and demand. They will charge as much as the market will bear, good business practices dictate that. I saw it happen where I used to live, prices will go up if we are continuously willing to pay more. Treat them well, but keep it realistic.

Made my first visit to an AMP. Peace of Mind. Looking to find out if what I experienced is typical. Had a nice girl, gave her the. 7 entrance fee. Thought I'd revive this.. I don't know if this is where they are, but this was my fist time in reading. About 9:30am, I was driving around Chestnut between 5th and 9th and I picked up a HSW. FYI: This post should be in the PA-Others Bethlehem subsection for future reference. Since its here already I'll respond...(NOTE: The last time I visited was about two years ago.)

Yes, it is American-staffed. The entrance is along the front of a (readily visible) strip of stores from Rt. 378. You do get a line-up of available ladies from which to choose. Looks can be from average to cute, kinda hit or miss. Age range also varies, though I don't think I ever saw a lady there who would've been older than mid-30s; average age is probably about mid-20s. They used to do a table shower but I think they have cut back on the service. Services in years past were YMMV depending on the girl, last couple of visits I made it seems options were restricted to HJ only (with multiple visits to the same girl, who knows?) Prices were typical for American places(at that time): about 60 for one hour and tips for various stages of undress matched or greater than the house fee.
Can't say that I have been sorely disappointed with my visits, though. It was nice for a change of pace. For the money, I prefer AMPs. I don't have any names to give (Sorry!) but if you feel a need, by all means stop in and at least get a line-up and more recent prices.

Now that I've mentioned it, I may need to sneak in a visit soon... for the conversation, of course!
