In order to stay safe out there for the newer punters or a refresher course for the older dogs out there. Here's what kept me out of trouble (for the most part)

1) Carry what you only need! Carry only 20 to 60 dollars to spend. If you get ripped off, you only loose what you carry, or if pulled over, you can say its gas money. Also use 20 dollar bills, ever ask a girl if you got change for a 100 spot is just asking for trouble. Plus it keeps the prices down.

2) Cruise the area 3 times. That way you can scope out if theres any sting operations, or girls on the stroll. After the 3rd time leave for a half hour to 1hr. The girls work erratic schedules and you can pick up one just coming out or going in.

3) Obey all traffic laws and speedlimits! Earlier I'm scoping john are and some shithead arab almost ran me off the road! Luckly dpd was watching and on the next go around the guy was in handcuffs and was being read the riot act (in english from what I heard). So drive the speed limit, signal before turning and don't do a turnaround at the street. If you have to turn around, turn off the side street, go down a city block and turn back on to the main road.

4) If you see 1 police car (marked, unmarked, undercover, paddy wagon) don't worry, but leave the area for a half hour. 2 police cars in the last hour. You may want to call it a day and leave. 3 or more in a span of 20 minutes get the fuck out! There a sting operation or raid going down so get the hell out!

5) I have some experiance with going in to houses where there are girls working out of. Just to be clear those houses are always crack houses. If you feel safe go in, pay only for what you are getting. (no drugs just the girls) and get out. If not don't go in them. No sense of going in, when you got one eye on the girl and the other on the door thinking swat is going to rush in.

6) This is a no brainer, make sure your car is in working order. Unless you like doing auto work in a crime infested neighborhood.

7) Should you be pulled over, just explain your lost, I'm sure most of you are from the suburbs and thats not a big strech but have a cover story. Most of the stops the police do are guys from the suburbs looking for a drugs or women. But if your caught in a sting, keep your mouth shut! You do have the right to remain silent so use it!

Those are few ground rules I can come up with right now. If any one wants to add or correct please feel free. I'm sure you guys can let a few trade secrets go

Stay safe!

1) This one should be written in stone by now, but must be repeated. Never, never, never, ever, for any reason talk about sex (for money or anything else). She MUST be in your vehicle and the show me test MUST be complete before anything! Even then, I would highly recommend only talking about some cash for some time well spent. After she is naked and doing her business, or finished, then it doesn't matter.

2) In addition to the 3X cruise rule, I would say that your turnaround points as correctly stated in SM rule (3) should be down roads that the police might hide. Remember, think like them. "Where would I hide if I was trying to catch some poor bastard."

3) Always carry a small, legal, pocket knife, bat in the backseat, etc. DO NOT carry a firearm, even if you are licensed to do so! The pocket knife should not be in your pocket for Gods sake. Put it somewhere in your car where only you know where it is (hidden) but it is relatively easy to get to. You never know when something like that will save your butt.

4) Seperate your monger cash from your wallet! The only thing the woman (and potentially, her pimp) should ever see in your car of value are your keys in the ignition, your monger cash, and yourself. Keep the wallet somewhere else in case you get pulled over that, like a pocket knife, is easily accessable but not suspicious. Keep nothing larger than a $20 in you wallet on the chance you get suckered. A license, another piece of ID, and a jackson are the only things that should be in there. Credit cards, the rest of your stash, etc should be very, very well hidden in case you get robbed. They feel good that they got your wallet, monger cash, and ID. You covered your ass and still have some other ID, the rest of your cash, and your credit cards. Be smart!

5) If you get pulled over, be cool to the cops. Never break this rule. Do not give them an excuse. Upon being pulled over, roll down your window and right away put BOTH hands on the top steering wheel. Do not reach for your ID - registration - insurance - whatever until they ask. Say sir, please, and thank you. Never give them any information that they can use against you. If you are arrested, SM is right. Just don't say anything at all.

6) Business first. Do not be a taxi for the ho. If she wants her cash, she has to work for it.

7) If you think for any reason something fishy is going down (other than her pussy), then drop the whole deal, dump her off if she is in your car, and GET THE F*** OUT of there. 9 times out of 10, your gut is screaming for a reason. There are plenty more fishy fish in the crack sea.

Great information for everyone. Just wanted to add one thing to your list. When ya' cruise the around 3 x's always keep an eye out for tow trucks. If there is a sting they need to have a way to swip the cars. So, if you see a tow truck just parked anywhere near our areas you can be pretty sure the boys are out there.

If she looks too good, be very careful. Every once in a while you find a diamond out there, but she's also likely to be a decoy. Don't let your excitement get the better of you - keep your eyes open, drive around the block, watch what happens when other guys pull up to her. I remember spotting a girl not too long ago near Michigan and Lonyo, she was young and hot and I had every intention of zipping around the block and picking her up (and so did a few others who hustling around the block with me). By the time I got back to the area (it had only taken me 60 seconds or so), the area was full of cops with guns drawn pulling a guy out of a car - and a tow truck ready to hitch up. They work fast! It is, of course, a good idea to never negotiate until she's in the car. But it's better to avoid chatting with a decoy at all, just to avoid any potential "misunderstandings".

It's been a couple of years, but I've happened across a few sting set-ups. One in particular I remember was down on Stecker St, near Wyoming. If you're unfamilar, it's a side street that leads to some abandoned (I think) warehouses. There was a little command center, a few cops and a few tow trucks. It was hard to miss. I've noticed, too, that when a decoy is working, there is at least one unmarked car on the other side of the street and parked just beyond her. That way, the car can flip a quick U-turn and end up right behind the John's car.

I agree -- great link! 99% of the time when dealing with the cops, less is more. My only (personal) exception is when then essentially have you, or can have you if they want. Then it is up to the monger to be as butt kissing as possible to accomplish either:

a) Talk your way out of it. I have done this before (thank you GOD!!) and the cops seem to like the sir/ma'am at that point. They like that you will never come back to the area and bug them. They like not having to do paperwork about a "maybe" bust.

b) If it ends up in court, there is no debate on the little cam / mic about your respect for Johnny Law to the judge.

Bean, the tow truck check is key!! I remember once crusing down Michigan East back in the day, past Livernois, and watching a tow truck duck behind a black apt. building (who paints their apt. blgs. black anyways??). I took the left to check it out, as well as the hottie standing on the corner, and I swear to you it looked like a damn SWAT team hiding behind that building! Freak out.

Last night around 11-12 doing the State Fair cruise, I met a young lady. Forgot her name, didn't have cell so no digits. If you suspect a sting operation is taking place drive around back to see if you see any cops hanging around. Don't let this lull you into a sense security. The cops will hide sometimes and you can't spot them.

Another good method is too hang out in a area to asess the situation if you are unsure what the cops are up too. You can do a little shopping or get something to eat. You will quickly find out if the cops are cracking down.

Holy shit twice now I have seen like 4-5 girls on the side street west of Tele between Grand River and Six(Just after dark). All the girls looked like newbie’s to the area; they must be congregating to the locale from previous spots.

For anyone trying to figure out what street I am talking about…it’s the first side street that runs parallel to Telegraph. Turn on from six the action runs all the way down to Grand River, you can’t miss it.

Well as for the close shave, I'm crusing around john are last Friday and I saw this knockout WSW standing infront of this house, now like a dumbass I stopped and get out to talk to her. Don't throw garbage on the streets or leave used condoms or date infront of someone's house. Try to be descreet about pickups or drop offs in neighborhoods. Also at least buy something else other than rubbers. Stop by a coney island and have lunch or breakfast. Or buy a pop while at the liquor store. If we respect the neighborhood it might cut down on the police presence a little if we stop being a bunch of pigs.

Thanks[/QUOTE]Depends, judging from your last few post, i would recommend staying at any of the no-tels on woodward. the cheapest would be the fountaine. its closer to 6 mile on the detroit side, 20+5 dollar key deposit for a 2 hour stay. some of the others(delido,americana and the bali on 8 mile near dequindre.) charge 5 to 10 dollars more. probably because a 2 hour stay is actually more like a 45min to a hour stay.

They are all over. On 8 mile the one on the Detroit side is ok. But the parking lot does face 8 mile and I have had some dates that refuse to go there. On Gratiot just north 8 mile the second one not the first one. 9 mile road at I94 the room is $49 they dont offer short time. Mich ave the Star next to club Venus but that corner gets real busy on the weekend at night. The place just the other side of I94 on Mich ave no short time stay. More on Mich ave in Dearborn and Inkster. Telegraph and 96 I used once and Telgraph and 10 mile the Easy Rest motel. Short stay or day time price 30-40 dollars usually includes a key deposit so subtract $5. Have fun!

I was cruising down Mich Ave last night around 11 pm right before it started pouring rain. I saw a BSW standing near the corner of Livernois and Michigan. Here is a true story to help you get over your gitters.

Picked up a beautiful young lady. Since I was being especially cheap that night I decided to go her recommeded "dark quite spot" . The next thing I knew someone appeared from nowhere with a board that looked like a baseball bat. I didn't have too long to look as the board was being cracked across my head.

To make a long story short I got to see some stars and I got to chat with the nice police officers explaining how may car was stolen. They were even nice enough to give me a fast ambulance ride to the local hospital. The overal best part was a few months later when I had to pay over $250. to get my car back(impound fee after recovery). The city attorney was a real nice guy who just didn't want to loose his(or the city's) last $250.

Strolled the john are area again last Friday. Talk about a ghost town. I know it was hot, but there were fat SW's out and about. If the fat ones can handle it, I know the skinny ones can. By the way, I thought crack was supposed to make you skinny. Not on Friday.

If you are not some what streetwise familar with the area be very careful. The muggers, scam hoes and police are all out there. Sorry about the delay, but couldn't get to a computer screen until now. I saw three flat bed wrecker trucks standing by with drivers on Outer Drive at Fenkell (5Mile). It appeared L.E. was setting up a sting near the gas station between Outer & Burt, can't remember name of station. I saw a unfamilur wsw working one of the corners near the station, she had a mini skirt on and looked relatively clean. I think she was a legitmate sw, but after seeing a couple of marked L.E. cars roll by and then the wreckers I wasn't going to go back and find out! I would think if they are setting up in that area yesterday, they maybe setting up in the area again today....Possibly 6 mile rd.. The time was about 5 pm on 7-19.

I picked up Ashley and her sister on Wednesday. Didn't want them both, but they were walking together and they both just hopped in. Thank god I read all the posts and warnnings.
