Police nabbed 13 people during an overnight prostitution sting in the Valley.

The operation, conducted between 8 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday, occurred near Sepulveda Boulevard and Rayen Street in North Hills.

Undercover female police officers who posed as prostitutes lured and arrested violators, known as "Johns," who stopped and solicited them for sex.

Officers also impounded 9 vehicles belonging to the violators, using a city ordinance enacted in 2005.

The City Attorney's Office will determine what fines to be assessed against the arrestees in order for them to get their vehicles back. In some cases, vehicles will be auctioned off, according to police.

Stayed home last night to prepare for daytime cruising in between NCAA games today, FYI I lost 4 bills I won 2, Waiting on Oregon & UCLA to finish up if they cover I'm up another 80, I hate 8-10 team parlays, I know hard to hit but the odd's I can't say no.

Anyways shame none of the u.c. cops got shot or run over I would love to read that in the paper today.

Anyways, If you see a sting dial 911 & report it, if they have a gun, and are in plain clothes, or you think you see a gun, report it, you don't want armed people running around the streets, be a good citizen.

This las Saturday as luck would have it I was travelling with my girlfreind ,I see a slightly thick Latina giving me the eye on Sepulveda and Magnolia (exactly there).I was well aware of the sting operations,and the girlfreind was fast asleep in the car.I went around and saw a black guy her pimp also managing another black girl.Anyhow,I drop my girlfreind off and go back to her.She quoted me 100 dollars(the latino one)I passed.I was just curious to find out Iwas really excited to see girls on this side of Sepulveda.Unforunately,i did not take down the number but she told me she works along that strip more or less everyday witha black girl

Actually, I have found some of the best girls, clean & young, at Hesby st. As well as Magnolia, Oxnard & Burbank.

The real skanks, bsw's, and newbies always work SB from Parthenia to Sherman way. Of course it can vary.

The whole track is so short, maybe 8 miles, just cruise the whole thing as YOU head towards the 118 or 101 to hit another stroll...

Again, sw's are dynamic creatures. They lead lives of chaos. And they are always adjusting to pimps & LE pressures to find dates.

Thus, all of SB is fair game for oportunistic ho's looking for dates!!!

Saw it as it happened. Evidence of it was everywhere . Tow trucks, motorcycle cops, and the supervisors having a meet in the parking lot at Nordhoff and SB. Just didn't know where it was and I wanted to see the bait they were using. Spotted them at Rayen. One blonde wsw in black shorts and top and a black hat and one brunette lsw in jeans and a jacket with two obvious cops trying to look like thugs standing ten feet away. I looped around and saw a poor bastard gettin arrested by the motorcops right in the parking lot on the same corner. As the arrest was happening the bait and the "thugs" were hiding under the shadows of some trees and behind a pay phone. I felt for the guy knowing he was going to lose his car.

Kept on cruising and all the action was at the South end from Oxnard to the 101.

Stay safe fellow mongers.

As I was scoping SB out I noticed a white Pontiac Grand Prix with no lights on parked in a scandalous hidden cut spot in the Orange Line area across the street from Costco...sure enough it was a UC as they busted someone for picking up one of the aforementioned ho's. WATCH OUT OUT THERE GUYS!

I went the length of SB twice from 3:00 a.m. to 4:15 a.m. and didn't see any of these ho's. Must have showed up for a short time, and I just missed em?

They hung around oxnard too long, LE eventually harassed them and that was the last I saw of them. But that must have been getting close to 5.

It was the same thing Friday night(aka Saturday morning) around 4am. 1 bsw between Oxnard and Burbank, one more at the corner of Oxnard and SB.

There were two more very light skinned girls....I couldn't get a good look...either latina or white...at the corner of SB and the south side of shopping center where the Jon's is. Several mongers and pimps were going nuts trying to get at the girls.

Then two more bsw at the corner of Valerio and SB.

By 4:20 am all were gone and did not come back out.

LAPD had a dui chekpoint or some kind of checkpoint Saturday night between Parthenia & Roscoe, not sure didn't need the hassle so I went around.

Sunday night. I could only find one lone gal trying to work the street. Drove up & down many times, watched the trees behind the Best Western burn (ok, that was entertaining, but back to business.) Cute 19yo BSW spinner was strolling around the Costco area. I sat & watched for a very long time. Not too many takers, but she never did get in anyone's car either. I did not see any LE on SB all evening (even at the fire they didn't show), and the guys that stopped to chat with her never got pulled over by LE, so I began to wonder what was up. Didn't seem to be a decoy, maybe she's too expensive, too picky, or were these idiots offering five bucks? I took the plunge to see for myself. Very nice gal, $60 for a CBJ, and digits to simplify the process next time. (and now wondering why I said sixty and not forty. Duh. Not like the price would go down after I start the bidding.)

You guys are right. SB is dead. I have made several runs in the past few days (daytime). I have seen the occasional BSW walking SB. Most btw Victory and Sherman Way. Nothing worth picking up. LE was not bad durring the day. Wish I had something better.

Has anyone seen anything on SF Road lately. There were some posts a while back.

San Fernando Rd between Hubbard & roxford has been dead for a long time the only 2 girls I have seen wouldn't even look good in Downtown Skid Row area.

Last night I observed 1 W or Latin s/w on Vose and Sepulveda, Not sure if she was LE or Not, She never got in a car, I did see two cars parked guys laying low, and not moving just parked watching I am sure some mongers do that, but it seemed that these cars were more intrested in the cars around and who did what then picking up the girl a few minutes later a bsw appeared, nothing else those cars never moved, and they were parked in two diffrent spots, I think LAPD is changing tactics a bit and using more of the follow then bust routine, I was driving around the block to make a u-turn and this lady had a video camera out, yelling at some guy she thought he was a monger but the poor guy was just moving a bag of grocery's that fell over he was pissed I guess they spilled but the video vigilante ***** and her huisband started cursing the guy for stopping there it was funny cause the guy finally told her to go fuck herself. The vidoe vigilante was at the N/E corner of Hart & Peach the lady was so proud of her new city installed No Stopping signs
she went off on an innocent person, spilled grocerys and a ***** fest poor guy. I for one know where I am dumping my used rubbers even if it means a drive.

Sepulveda has been a track since way back a guy I worked with said it was a track when he was 20 so I know for sure that's a good 40 years. No one want's it in there nieghborhood, but it's not a new thing, I sure hope I never turn into a person who has nothing to do then ***** at people at get no sleep, staying up late at night to watch others drive around my block just sounds boring as hell. And then there was the cop-looking dude in the pickup truck at the back of the parking lot (not eating, but watching) One gal sure tried to get my attention ... time to head south and not come back...for tonight.

So where is a hungry hobbyist to go on a night such as this? Checked out the action by the all-night wiener shop [I like mine with everything on top ;-)] ... 3 dark flavors to choose from, all yummy. My little spinner from previous engagements wouldn't answer her dang phone, so I tried a new one. Good choice too, .6 for fs, friendly and unrushed. Maybe this one will actually answer her phone next time round...

word to the track mongers prowling for tang on SB got the word from a patient off mine that is employed with the lapd vice unit and he says they still arrest 10-13 during a sting party.and he says that his team stay busy. oh yeah the amps that offer extras are harder to find, but the existing ones are out there and will be dealt with in time. so be careful boyz T59

3-4 lapd cruisers out with nothing better to do, although I did see 6 gang members, 1 auto burglar and at least 3 drug dealers, Thank god the LAPD was to busy to notice all that, they were looking at the girls.

Personal opinion, anthing up around Valley Ball area is bottom of the barrel...There's much better pickin's to be had to the south.

Although LA is a big city, if you watch carefully, you'll begin to recognize what belongs and what doesn't on the track. Watch out for yourselves!

Oh, and one more musing. I wonder if it'd be worth the effort to buy a beater car for $500, like I'd care if they impounded that! Probably would blend in to the negihborhood better too!

Half the theory is good, ya you have a beater car you can walk away from, here is the problem if they take you car it means you got busted as well!
Avoid getting busted in the end a beater car will save you the $ if your car got siezed, but is it worth the insurance and upkeep etc.

Good in theory to have fun, Bad in practice, LAPD will pull you over tear up your car, waste a good 10-30 minutes threaten you with arrest and worst of all, they might just take you to jail for some bullshit disturbing the peace charge, ya you have the right to say it and they have the right to take you to jail. Better to let the bad piggy sleep, unless you feel the need to be a good citizen and report the "Hookers" to the police if you observe a weapon or a gun let the dispatcher know that there is a man with a gun and give a good description, if your lucky the police will arrest the suspect, or at least detain them for a bit, I always feel better when I do my part to help the community, and report all illegal activity, better the bad guys get stopped then me ;)

SB's not really dead if your timing is right. I get to see a reasonable amount of activity all during the same time frame. You just have to know when to go.
Here's one of a crew of three between Sherman Way and Vanowen today around 3. Saw one monger in a brand new Avalanche being a little too obvious. Just imagined having to surrender that ride!

Nothing, was in the area drove it Nothing out.
