Well, in the past I've gone for legit tanning sessions. The reason being, my time is valuable, and in one or two sessions, I can get a great tan rather than sitting out in the sun for +4 hours. That is, when I cared about getting a tan.
I don't care anymore, hence I won't pay for the UV rental LOL. Anyway, some reasoning why legit places stay in business, yes even in Socal.

The now-closed Club La Paz of Inglewood was a tanning salon. The extraordinary services that it provided have been well documented here.
When LP was originally trying to get their tanning salon license, the matter was before, I believe, the city council. One official questioned the need for such a business given the pigmentation of the indigenous population.

I don't think I have ever gotten any information from other members on the board. The level of mistrust is high and information does not flow smoothly. I have spend thousands on researching places and I have a good grasp of whats out there and I know of many good houses. Unfortuantely, I truly feel stingy due to the amount of money spent to find such places. I would like to change my stingyness and share information but it is awfully hard. Perhaps we could discuss how info could flow more freely? Otherwise, what is gained?

Actually, webcams is right. There are a few really high end escort services....the ones that send girls as companions for wealthy businessmen and stuff. Costa Rica is a 6 hour flight. You can fly to Vegas for less, but you still have to fight the airport, so it's not a cakewalk.
