While I am not a CL or BP monger...
One basic thing that you can do is use the Tineye website to see if those photos have been used anywhere else. You upload the photo, or just even the link to it, and it spits back anywhere else on the web that photo might exist.
If you see it in several different ads or porn sites, it's obviously fake.
I might politely disagree with Kain...
I don't think that if a cop sees a girl get in your car that you are automatically fucked. Granted, I'd rather that not happen, just to keep my shit on the down-low. But from a legal standpoint, there is nothing illegal about offering someone a ride.
Even if the cop sees a well-known SW getting in your car, they have no proof of the purpose. I suppose they could harass you - but would have to have a legally strong suspiscion - such as drug possession, or see a problem with the equipment on your car, in order to legally stop you.
This is why you rarely see mongers in The Slammer. An officer would have to see you doing the transaction. And even if they roll up on your spot in mid-act, the worst they have you on is something like lewd behavoir in public. Granted - this as long as you don't panic and give into their questioning. When a monger does get busted like that, it's usually because they get scared and fess up.
This is also why stings are so rarely aimed at mongers around here. It's not cost effective, given that most of us regulars can spot it a mile away. Look back through the thread for the results of the last time they tried about a year ago.
I guess the hitchhiker law
Is their best weapon, and had not thought of that. I'll bet it varies between towns though.
Whether LEO is trying to use that one or not, if you see the blue lights come on, the first thing to do is try and agree on 3-4 basics of your "story" with the girl. How long you've known her, where you were going, etc.
Always check your car afterwards
Hey Robert that's a good Idea but the only problem is that the SWs are usually to stupid or don't care enough to lie because they know they won't get into any real trouble. Neither will you actually just embarrassment really and then you'll need a lawyer to expunge it off your record because solicitation is a misdemeanor. Just watch out for the SW that leaves their paraphernalia in your car such as a crack pipe. Because that can put you in for some real trouble.
By the way I am in my 2ed year of law school.
I have twice found a "rock", several lighters, prescription pills, and on more than one occasion, got my $20 bill back.
