Police Search For Stabbing Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect after an attempted armed robbery that led to a stabbing at a west Lexington motel early Monday morning.
Police were called to the Day's Motel on Versailles Road around 1 a.m. after a report of an assault inside one of the rooms. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man who had been stabbed multiple times after what they say appeared to be an attempted robbery.
The victim was taken to UK =Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
On my way home from the far east reagions of the state. I spent the night in Lexington. Got to my hotel about 4pm and imediately went to check out the area. Got the wave from a wsw sitting on a porch on 7th but on the turnaround she was gone. I saw a couple of other wsw posibles but ended up picking up a wsw on Loudon and got a nice Catch and Release for a Jack.
After showering I went back out between 7 - 8pm. Absolutely nothing. Decided to get dinner.
The next morning on the way to the airport (about 4:30am.) I cruised back through the same area. I did not see any one on the streets but I did see what appeared to be a wsw in an SUV honking her horn at me and hanging here head obviously out the window. I was going the wrong direction so I went around the block. Gone.
I must have dreamed the whole thing.

Arrest Made Following Robbery at Motel in Lexington

An arrest has been made in connection with a robbery at a motel in Lexington Sunday night. Police tell Action News 36 that they are still looking for two more suspects in the case.
Police said a man who went into a room of the Days Motel on Versailles Road just before midnight Sunday was held down by a man and two women who robbed him of cash. The victim's name hasn't been released by police.
Police arrested Betty Kay Burdine, 33, of Lexington Sunday night and charged her with second-degree robbery.
This is the same motel where a man told police he was stabbed during a robbery attempt back on January 29th. Police are looking for a lone suspect in that case. They don't know if the two incidents are related. No arrests have been made in the January 29th case.

The two posts below about robbery and a stabbing make me more concerned about incall. It sounds like both instances were incalls with other people waiting to pounce on the fellow when he arrives. Never take more than you are spending and don't wear anything you care to loose are good rules. I think a cab might also be a good idea. Makes me nervous of incall if I am not acquainted with the lady.
