Hi all:

A (legit, therapeutic) massage therapist mentioned something to me this week that might be of interest. According to her, on 1/1/2017, Virginia's massage laws are changing, in a way that will negatively affect the Asian places in town. From what she told me, the current laws allow for therapists to be unlicensed, as long as there is a "supervisor" on premises who is licensed. However, starting in 2017, every therapist is required to hold a license.

She said this change was made specifically to counteract AMPs. No idea if this is true or not -- and a few minutes of Googling didn't turn anything up -- but just thought I'd throw it out here.
