Last week Saturday I made an appointment at Royal Spa In the Kukui Plaza. They had a massage special. One hr for $36.00 and 90 minutes for $50.00. I opted for 90 minutes. Can't go wrong with that even if there are no extras. As I was confirming it on Saturday a dude answered it and said he was waiting for the 1:00 appointment (me). I asked if he was giving the massage he said yes he was. I asked if there were any female masseuse. He said I had requested for a male masseure (sp). I thought for a moment and remembered I was asked whether it was a male massage or female massage. I mention it was a male massage thinking she was asking who was asking for a massage. Male or female. I answered "male massage" . The dude that answered said there are no female massesuse only male, those Chinese ladies don't know how to make the appointments and do not explain it well. I opted out and he was okay about it.

On Tuesday I called again and asked if there any female masseuses. There were female masseuses the receptionist said. So I made the 90 minute appointment for later that day since I was in the downtown area. I went there as scheduled and was introduced to Claire my masseuse for the session. She seemed in her 40's, 5'2" a little chunky, dressed in a blouse and shorts, nothing sexy. I thought I might as well get the massage. I undressed and laid on the table under the sheet, kept by drawers on. She came in and for the next 90 minutes it was strictly a medium pressure massage that I opted for. Despite her 20 years experience it was so-so. No hint of any extras, despite me giving clues. Had good conversation with her. Relaxing and felt good afterwards despite not getting any extras. Paid the fee $50.00 plus tipped her $25.00.

Not sure if I would repeat.

If I go back I would request a good looking one and try to push the envelop and try a little aggressively.

Has anyone gone there and received extras? It would good to know and help me decided whether to return or not.
