My source is a DP, who confirmed what Kurocha said about Pink. Notably, others have mentioned that Aubrey was scared off, very briefly, by the LE noc 'and' talk at Pink. Like Kurocha, I feel that offering information about busts is a public service. I think it's generally accepted that it's not 100 percent verifiable, unless someone tracks down cops or court dockets. Busts are worth noting, however, if doing so makes people a little more cautious and prevents arrests. Again, Mayor Carlisle is touting anti-prostitution busts as part of his re-election campaign and I know for a fact that, during this year's legislative session, Keith Kaneshiro's office (Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney) worked with Kathryn Xian on legislation to increase penalties against mongers. There was even talk of adding repeat solicitation (being caught mongering three or more times in six years) to the sex offender registry. Given that none of us are likely willing to out ourselves at the State Legislature as participants in criminal activity, the best we can do is inform each other of LE activities on these threads, in an effort to keep our hobby alive and look out for each other. In the example of Pink versus GQ, there could have been probable cause that a provider working there may have been possibly illegal or even suspected of drug trafficking, whereas GQ had properly documented workers and no hint of any other illegal activity, or when the undercover officer actually went there as a customer, the provider tried to solicit services that could have incriminated herself, whereas the GQ girls were more savy and didn't fall into the LE trap. I have also heard that LE would probably investigate complaints made by some disgruntled customers or perhaps even special interest groups such as PASS, trying to disrupt business at any given AMP.
