Thoughts on LE surveillance
Actual physical surveillance, as in an officer or agent sitting in a van, is pretty resource-intensive. It's more likely LE will set up a camera they can monitor remotely. But, unless it's a high priority case, the setup would probably be a single camera that covers the main entrance of the establishment. So, while there are no absolute guarantees, parking a half-block away (or on a side street) should keep your vehicle out of frame. Your walk to the establishment door will certainly be captured, but things like a hat, sunglasses, paper face mask (it's flu season, remember) go a long way toward defeating identification schemes. Nondescript overcoats are also worth considering. Besides, there are likely tons of clients who aren't taking any precautions, so you just want to nudge LE to move on to the next guy. It also goes without saying that you should wear nothing (visible) that stands out. If you have a rare, expensive watch, or unique shoes, leave those at home or in the car.
Or you could also start visiting massage indies a bit more (see my comparison post in the Thai Independents Forum). Much safer, from an LE avoidance perspective.

I know this happened in Massachusetts, and it probably happens other places more than we hear about; but since this did make the news, it's worth mentioning. Virginia seems to like to follow what other areas have done, so I wouldn't be surprised if some kind of investigation or sting gets started in this area. It already happened at that motel in Dumfries; that might have just been the beginning.
