I still remember the time I went in there and she gave me the old "stripclub handshake" and said "damn, what have you been feeding this motherfucker"? To which I replied, "that's the problem, he hasn't been getting fed lately." Charlies is a little dive stripclub on Florence and Crenshaw, well actually 3 blocks east of Crenshaw. It had the reputation of being very seedy and potentially violent. A marine was ginned down at the door back in 2003? Also the owner son was shot and killed there. Let's put it this way, I always sat near the exit when I used to go to Charlies. Lucky danced there and I think Unique did too. I think half the girls I see at KH8 did used to dance at Charlies, it's like being in AA baseball before being called up to the majors. The good thing about Charlies from a dancer point of view is the stage fee was like $10. But shit sometimes, it would take a girl 2 hours to make that in Charlies. Then again, sometimes, Charlies was jumpin. I stopped going there when they "remodeled", became a "sports bar / strip club" and started charging a cover. A cover? At Charlies? Nigga please!!! Oh, and putting up a screen on a wall and bring in an old 1980's projection TV does not make your strip club a sports bar Charlies! The only really good thing about Charlies was, if a girl danced there and you had money to fuck, she would take you to the motel next door and fuck the shit out of you at closing time, hell, she might leave her shift early!!! Lucky was the only one that worked there that don't THINK would do that.

In fact, I don't think since the shooting. Its a hole in the wall on Florence near Crenshaw. Kinda sketchy place. But a lot of the girls at KH8 have worked there before. I heard its kinda like the spot they work at if they're on suspension from KH8. Yup, the strip club has a peeking order! LOL.
Rumor has it Erin through a chair onstage after not getting any tips after dancing. So shes serving time over at Charlies. I haven't been to Charlies to verify.
I just got to check out Charlies. I will report back.

There is a full bar there however and some shitty pool tables. Its basically a ghetto sports bar.
I never go to Charlies unless I'm already drunk and want to get one more before I get home. There are no other bars near my house. There used to be high milage there when their lap dance area had a curtain, but last time I went the girls told me they were raided by the cops and they had to remove the curtains. There is still one spot behind a shrub in the very corner which is semi private. Not private enough for me to even attempt a high milage dance though. I give it one/half star out of five.

I've also been meaning to check out by Club Music Staff that's also been mentioned on the forums (on Florence 2 blocks West of Figueroa).
If someone has game and can find out the scoop on these two Florence minor league clubs, I trust its you, BC!

I've hung at Club Music Staff a couple of times.
Very Basic club like Charlies.
Lap dances are done in what used to be the DJ booth, not v. private.
Saw Jazzy was there from Starz, she works evenings.
Place can close around 10:30 depending on business.
So after i heard the story of Erin working at Charlie's due to some flying chairs I decided to check the place out.
Gotta admit, I did feel a bit out of place. Kind a shining (skin tone).
Anyhow, pay my 5 bucks and look onto the very small stage. I have to say, I don't know what some of you guys are talking about. There was a very skinny, really hottie type girl on stage and I saw some other nice arguments bouncing around me. I got there around 8ish.
Unfortunately (or in this case maybe fortunately, 'cause I can't complain on the reason), I did not get to check all the girls out that much. My eyes just barely adjusted to the place when I see Erin, or better say, she sees me. She come over and asked me where I have been, so we start talking about her not being at KH8 as for now due to the chair event.
After sitting on teh couch with her for a while she tells me that they do their dances behind the plant (no curtains, but a fake benjamini). Anyhow, so we hid back and she says: "sorry, but they take 20 a song here, are you OK with it?". Tell you, the songs are much longer than at any place I have ever been to. So we are barely into the seond song, when little Eeros comes out. At the end of the 2nd song I had to slow her down, just a bit too much hand action, since I was looking for more. Shot, I don't have a 'thingy'. So I tell her that I do not and she starts laughing: "Ok, let me try to get one out of my purse (which was on the bar counter) without being to obvious".
Tell you, Erin is still the best. She rides me like a horse and I nut big time sometime towards the end of song three. Unfortunately I only had $ with me, but she was fine with it. She actually said: "Hell, it felt so good, I would have done it for whatever you wanted to give me". The girl really knows how to get one's ego up (and other things). I quickly go to the restrooms to clean up and dispose of the evidence. Back in the bar I buy her a drink and she tells me about her trip to Knott's Scary Farm, wearing skimpy slutty cloths and how the monsters touched her boobs.
I was running late, so I had to leave, but I'll return.
