Posting in 6 different cities
She's local, based out of FFX. It's interesting that she's advertising across the country, especially on a short notice. I've had traveling providers in the past that are flying in from Miami or NYC, but made those arrangements in advance. It almost seems like she's feeling the pulse across all those cities and wherever she get most bookings ends up going there.
Trust is something that is earned and it can be eroded away instantly. Some people might question your intent.
Interesting Times at Westwood Center
Story time. Booked an upscale member of an agency that I have used many times. Texted handler and everything was going smooth and normal, was given time and location. Pull up to this very familiar place and I back into a spot so I have a view of the buildings.
Me: I'm here.
Handler: Wait in your car. There was a plumbing issue in the room and they're fixing it. Should be 10-15 min.
Me: Ok.
10 minutes later, a Sheriff's car pulls up. I didn't spot the jurisdiction. He stops right in front of my car and pauses for 10 seconds. My car is still running and I'm in full on pucker mode. He drives further down (it's not that big a parking lot) and backs into a spot about 5 spots away from me, but there is a truck between us so I can't see him. I wait a few seconds to see what he's doing, but he's just parked. I put it in D and slowly exit the parking lot and get on the road.
Me: Police just parked in the parking lot. I had to leave.
Handler: ?
Me: A sheriff's car parked a few spots down from my car. He seemed to be staying there so I left. He may still be there for all I know.
Handler: Every day the police car is there (LOL!
Me: I hate to break an appointment but there is no way I'm walking past a cop into there.
Handler: Park in a different place (LOL again!
Me: I'm already long gone, sorry.
I was actually a bit more apologetic about breaking the appointment. And maybe I've burned a bridge with them but I'm not taking even small risks. The last thing I needed was for that deputy to walk over, tap on my window and start asking questions. Not much he could do legally I imagine, but he could get me on body cam, try to trip me up. I am sure he took down my license.
I'm not mentioning the provider or agency because this issue is not related to them but is simply a public safety thing. For all I know their business is being hurt by this. They may want to consider better location, that place seems to be getting more sketch. LE may be just trying to run their business off.
