Not to mention green card consequences. Which clears out a lot of the would be AMP operators and providers.

Are AMP rent estimates too high? Some of the locations are really bad. Happiness has no parking. Many are or were in old buildings. Nirvana, osaka, happiness too. Roses was a shoe box. The only future use of those locations that I can think of is as rooming houses. They already have bedrooms, communal kitchens, and bathrooms.

The biz seems to be moving into apartments. Which means fewer workers with increased chance of guys walking out without paying, robbery or worse. At larger AMP there is safety in numbers.

Like drugs and gambling, as long as there's money to be made, there's always a way. Legalization might not be a good thing with government regulation always fuck things up.

Drove by happiness today, I'd say not only are they closed, but they're completely vacated. All the windows have the tint removed, you can see into the kitchen area, and it looks completely emptied out. I know they've been closed for a while, but now it looks officially gone, completely vacated. Sad days, LOL.
