The best pupus was at Latin Villa long time ago; Tae Kim, the owner; she set the pupu standards and that's why us older guys spoiled; you younger guys would be, too. Splash was interesting tonight. Pretty busy & I haven't been there in awhile. Whats up with that mini bar? Kindah strange with kbgs, cbgs, singing their songs. EG looks dead right now (2am) but I think ok cause my kryptonite kbg is maybe on bacation. Wish me luck boys, I'm diving in.

Was walking around Makaloa at around 2 last night. Saw this hot looking girl and her friend walking to Evergreen. Naturally followed her and her friend to EG too. The hot looking one was about 5'4, ehu hair past her shoulders, C-cups, early 20s, Korean and was wearing reddish violet short skirt dress. I think she came from another bar, don't know which one; but I'm guessing D'amour. Anyone know who I'm talking about? Was thinking to myself "is this the famous Ashley everyone is posting about"?

D' Amour is in the other direction and has no hotties as far as I've seen. There's a good chance you saw a Butterfly girl as there are a few there who match that description.

Some girls are approachable out on the sidewalk and will snag you along, others are not, until they are in the bar and then you can talk to them. Usually they will ask something along the lines of "You going to buy me drink?", so the sure way is to go into the bar and see.

Went out there around 9ish to Cleo's to meet with a friend. Bar kinda full but booths open, managed to get seats on the bar. Cruzed there for couple of rounds. Not much girls there. Friend wanted to go Green Tee. Was slower than Cleo's, but he wanted to drink a few more before headed home. Told him watch out for the block on Nimitz if going that way. Time went by, next thing it was close to closing (1:30 bar time). Finished up, asked if he was ok, said yeah but followed him anyway. Next thing you know, driving down Dillingham, as soon as we came up to Ahua st, Block still up. He gets pulled over, and I get pass. Called him up 30 mins later, asked if was ok, he said that he some how passed and was home.

I thought that after 1pm, all the blocks should be down, cause that would be considered entrapment?

Even without roadblocks, at the 2 am hour there tend to be more cops visible cruising around the Makaloa area, so I either get out earlier or sober-up at EG if I happened to be drinking. Usually there aren't quite so many cops around after that but one still needs to be careful.

As I posted a few years ago, one night after 2 am about five HPD officers were hanging out on Makaloa Street. It was not a roadblock; they were parked on the side just standing around by their cars. I was parked not far from them and knew one would pursue the minute I pulled away, so I kept walking and had to kill almost two hours in WalMart before I could leave. I hadn't been drinking, but have no interest in being pulled over and questioned.

I also posted about the guy who got shoved and pinned to the wall by officers right in front of what is now Tomorrow. I don't know if he said anything; he appeared to be simply standing there in the moments before they slammed him. He was grimacing.

Personally, I go on the assumption "They CAN do that and they WILL do that", rather than what they can't do and for what reasons. Best to mind one's P's and Q's.

Anyone going to be in the PC or Kalihi area watching the game today? Who should cover? Heat or Thunder? Need some extra $$ for FM weekend.
