I think TX and NC have similar changes within the last few years. What else is interesting is that Pandering (paid consensual sex) is the same penalty as Pimping in GA. Prostitution is still a misdemeanor. So if you're going to pay to play you might as well run girls on your own for profit.

Pandering is running an establishment, party, event, etc with the intention of sex being sold. That's why it's the same as pimping. A pimp cannot rent a hotel room and say well, I'm just paying for the room. The girls are doing their own thing.

I do have a friends in corporate law who dabbles in the hobby, again not an expert in the criminal area but the guidance is to look up the dictionary definition of any uncommon word you don't understand as the written definition may be slightly different than current / popular conversational meaning.
GA only has definitions for the crimes of:
16.6. 9 Prostitution.
16.6. 10 Keeping a place of prostitution.
16.6. 11 Pimping.
16.6. 12 Pandering.
16.6. 13 Penalties for all the above (including seizure of vehicles and property involved in the crime).
GA Code § 16-6-12 (2024).
A person commits the offense of pandering when he or she solicits a person to perform an act of prostitution in his or her own behalf or in behalf of a third person or when he or she knowingly assembles persons at a fixed place for the purpose of being solicited by others to perform an act of prostitution.
Soliciting of prostitution is included in the legal definition of the crime of Pandering. Pandering is now a first offense FELONY in GA, NC TX and maybe a few others.
My understanding is that functionally they still need evidence of any of us to agree either verbally or text to pay for a sex act. Do that and you are cooked. Otherwise they can still arrest you but a conviction is dependent on arguments of intent or implied acts. So talking about time donations and showing up with no agreement of sex will still get you arrested (especially if there are things like $50 BBBJ in the add and you mention the add) but give your lawyer something to work with.
I don't expect the new law to change what I do, but for the last few years I have been largely disappointed with the LC / STG escorts and have been helping college girls with tuition. The worst danger there is them catching feelings and fucking with the wife, which may be worse than an arrest.

The police placed an ad on Listcrawler using some fake ass pics. I just text the ad asking for rates. The cop quoted me $50 qv and said it came with " Sex and oral" That's exactly how that bastard wrote it via text. I wasn't paying any mind to the text when 15 minutes later, the cop text me again asking if I was still coming. I text back sure, since it was only a $50 qv. Got to hotel with 2 cop cars outside with a tour van bus full of people outside the hotel, too. I thought the cops were just there to protect the van bus. Smdh. Reached inside hotel as undercover cop opened the door. She was fully dressed in shorts and t shirt, showing no skin. I should have told her to take off shirt and show me some skin or let me touch chest. She told me to get comfortable and lay back on bed. She still never shed any clothing or showed condom or anything sexual. Then, she excused herself to bathroom and cops came in from room next door. Smh.
