Just wanted to add my 2-cents. Around 1:30 pm today at the intersection of John Marr Dr and Little River Trpk there is a Popeyes chicken. On the John Marr side there is a bench right next to the road and two women were just sitting there. I noticed that they gave extra attention to cars that came by with single men. One seems to be in her thirties and the other probably late forties. Perhaps this is a regular hangout for business.

It would be news if those ladies were looking for dates. But as Creeping pointed out, they might have been waiting for a bus. Several Metro and Fairfax Connector bus lines have stops near that intersection.

The other day I saw a map of the opiod related emergency calls in Fairfax county and that area on little river turnpike was among the ones with more cases. Next time if you are not in a rush approach to them and pretend that your cell phone battery is dead and ask for directions, if they have no idea where they are they might b out of town, start the convo, they might need extra cash for their meds.

As I said it's been couple of weeks since I drove around there but, I'll keep my eyes open if I happen to be in the area.

I live in the suburbs, and I was driving a couple of blocks from my house at around 10 pm in a particularly dark residential area and notice a young lady standing on the corner of one of the blocks. When I returned from the store a half-hour later, I drove the same street and she was still there. Curious now, I came back in 15 minutes and she was still there.

I've never seen a person just standing in that particular area in the dark like that, as it wasn't particularly safe. But being at that location would make sense if she was really soliciting, as the police around here are very responsive.

So, Question. If you wanted to see if she was soliciting, what else would you look for? How would you approach? PM if you want.

Well, if we talk about the Richmond Hwy, I'd say if you see one walking near the shitty motels or the trailer parks and looking at the cars while pretending they are on the phone there is a big chance they going to do something for quick cash.
