Personally, for those that say "want an allowance", I always tell them I would much prefer an allowance also because it's easy and I don't want either of us to think about money when we're together. But we need to meet a few times PPM before then to build trust and make sure we click. Then, I never go to an allowance and they never bring it up again. Works like a charm.

She is very awesome!
