So they thought they were going to uncover a big human trafficking ring and catch a bunch of "evil" wealthy men. Heroism! Big publicity!

First, they surveilled the spa for months to get enough evidence to go to a judge to get the "sneak and peek" warrant they needed. Then, they had to use a ruse to get the spa emptied for several hours while they went in and installed the hidden cameras. Recording video uses a lot of power, so battery operation is impractical. She was a little nervous at first because I do look like a stereotypical cop (fit, fresh haircut, beard neatly trimmed) but once the flip happened it was game on.
