That usually will tell if they a real or scammers. But on the other hand, for real ones, the cost is comparable or less than uber / Lyft. Most cab services will take a CC over the phone but MAY have to provide a legal name of the rider. There are Pro's and Con's with Ride Share VS Taxi; it's what works best for you.
