Green T grand opening tonight 4/3 and tomorrow 4/4. Not sure what's on the menu but I'm sure it's relative to where you stand as a customer with Michelle mama or the kbg you're sitting with. Dropped into Lilac to catch a UH baseball game. The mama was very gracious and fed us well. Gary behind the bar. Was a great choice for game watching- cold brews, seats front & center at the bar, no loud annoying karaoke, no whining kbgs. Caught the UH rout of HPU at Bonita at Pearl Kai. Another good choice for game watching but no house pupu that night. Heard that NK in Kalihi was busy that night. Might be a busy weekend with Final 4 basketball games. Stay Safe gentlemen.

At least you know what you getting when you go there. Not like the KB where it's a blue ball guessing game if you going to get any kind of action. If you do get action it's going to cost you. GL!
KB's and us guys that regularly go KB's are, well, I don't want to say a dying breed, but, well I can't think of another phrase to use, and yeah, we kind of literally are, but I don't want to jinx any of us with that "dying" part.
Most of us regulars are getting up there in age. And the wahines aren't the young hot twenty-somethings that used to be standards in all the bars in the hey-day 20-plus years ago. Now days, late 30's, early 40's is kind of the standard for the young end of the scale for the wahines. And most of these milfs / gilfs are kind of dumpy frumpy looking. Not like dressed to the nines like 20-plus years ago. The KB's and KB girls were like fashion magazine models.
And I keep on saying that the bar wahines these days don't know their job. Back in the day, it was pretty much, known, accepted (expected) practice by the wahines and the guys that if the guy is spending the money on the wahine there are expectations he has in return from the wahine, usually food, drinks and some degree of hanky-panky play. The wahines these days, idk if it's that they are lazy, or don't care, or are new and never learned, or no one ever taught them or trained them. But most of them expect you to spend lots of money on them, and they in return try to put out as little as possible. Now I'm not saying all of the wahines are like this, there are still some that take care of their customers with varying degrees of pupus and food, from chips and peanuts, to full on steak and seafood spreads, and varying degrees in between, depending on how good a customer the guy is. Which is fine and good. But the wahines forget or try hard to avoid the hanky-panky part, which is kind of what I go to the KB / Hostess bars for. My thinking is, I can get food, and drink anyplace, I got to the KB's for the naughty extras that I can't get outside the KB's. There are a handful of pretty well known (and well worn) KB girls who will provide guaranteed play, but you'll find much younger / much better looking ones in the AMP's.
Anyway, this is a long winded way of saying, you are better off sticking to the AMP's. You know what you going to get and what price range, and younger and better looking choices.
But go check out the KB's just for the heck of it / fun of it. If you see a wahine that interests you, buy her a couple of drinks and see where it goes. But don't go overboard, because most of the time you be lucky if you get a little touchy-feely looky-looky and that's all, $$ later. When you could have spent that $$ at the AMP for guaranteed action with a younger prettier girl, plus a shower and massage, which you won't get in the KB.
So why do I go KB's? Mostly out of habit. Old habits die hard. That's probably the same for most of the guys that still go KB's

It was a gathering place full of fun, good guys, stories, ono wahines, and just plain habit-forming. No regrets except maybe thinking about the $100 K (or maybe little more) spent over 45+ years, LOL.
But if you looking for guarans punani more better go elsewhere than the KB (unless you like the challenge).

Up to you how much you are going to spend for basically nothing. Long gone are the days of a quick hand job or even blow job in the booth. (In Kalihi, it was the old Waterfall where you could get a quicky for $100 but it's gone now) The village bicycle Michelle hasn't been seen since covid, at least not by me, always good for a bbjcim for $100 is gone. Basically you are going to spend a lot of money and get nothing. Stick with the AMPs.

I keep going to the KB's hoping to find something new (and young) and keep getting disappointed. End up spending money on old ladies who are never going to give anything in return.
I took the KB tour with Oldee last week and started at Business for their anniversary celebration which featured as mentioned free pupus with a buffet table setup up. The food was great and Business had quite a few young kbgs and pretty hot bartenders. We were the only customers not buying drinks and Oldee said that's how Business is now. Lvbs and big spenders seem the norm there.
We next went to Camelot which was busier because Sandra and crew joinned Laura but wasnt crowded busy. Oldee said Yuka retired and I had fun times with her skills. He said he went with CC (don't know who that) last year who was a perfect gentleman with her. If you go daytime, Chloe makes good grinds. There is a young local girl working there now and a few young K girls.
Last town bar was Splash which was slow which explains why many kbgs now in Kalihi came from Splash. I bugged Oldee to post with his take on KBs but he said he's retired and the current regular posters are doing a good job. I learned alot from him and never paid the 2 drink tour price to this day.

Oldee is a Legend and I learned a lot from him. Lost touch with him ever since he retired from the forums, I had his number but got I lost his number over the years. Packed with customers of course with food and girls drinks flowing. Saw a couple new Korean ladies, a bit homely looking but not bad. I somewhat recognized the usual bar people and the local guys which were absent during the tenure of the past mamas.

Nothing really to look at in town now days but I did notice two pretty skinny kinda actually Chinese looking girls at Business recently with a few tattoos on the arms and some fake nails that would rival the claws of Wolverine. Any info on these two? Last time I was there was really dead but saw one of these girls with a barely there skirt that pretty much had the bottom half of her ass out on full display every time she stood up to walk somewhere.

When they start redevelopment of the area most of the bars will close too. If someone opened a brand new bar in town I bet it will be really busy. Maybe someone will apply for a Lic. Near Keeamoku St. Lots of Korean bases investment in the area.

The Green Tea mama and girls tried to rip off my friend by padding the bar tab with green bottles even though he said he did not want to run a tab. They did it anyway without his permission. Is that legal? Also, went to Lucky Hono and Golden tree and these places were slow as hell. I can see why the girls act like vultures these days by trying to cheat customer at every opportunity. Going to stop bar-hopping for a little while until football season starts again.
I base this on how packed they are on Tuesday vs Friday nights.

They are 2 new kbgs on the floor who are def younger ie 20-30's but I wouldn't consider them tall although I suppose it's all relative.
