You may only get 2 minutes of someone's time before they want money for further consultation.
Find where and when similar cases are heard. Go there. Listen. Learn. You might see an attorney that is good.
In the mean time, don't answer any questions about what happened.
What did you do or not do? Did you discuss services over the phone or in person? Did you do your homework on the escort? Did you do the touch test before discussing services? Were you arrested etc. , as soon as you walked in the room?
Guys. I got caught in a sting and am seriously scared with how this will impact my life. I was let go and was told that there will be a summon to the court coming in the mail. Is there a specific lawyer for these type of situations? Is my life ruined with my photo taken(especially with an article on the web reporting my name and photo?)? Please advise, I won't ever venture forth in this again.
Hey I just want to thank you guys for all the messages and advice so far. I really appreciate it and it has really helped calm my nerves. You guys are great.

ShadeSnake, I realize you're dealing with a delicate subject, but you might ask around and find out if there are other reputable attorneys with a good track record who could help you.
I find it odd that we live in a day and age when one can legally marry a member of the same sex, yet one can face arrest and / or public humiliation for engaging in consenting heterosexual adults behavior when an exchange of money is involved. Then again, that's probably a discussion for another time and place. ShadeSnake, I wish you well as you deal with this situation.

He just went with the court appointed attorney and the judge was very lenient. Dismissed most charges and gave him a little fine. Don't sweat it but prepare for the press coverage. As for consequences. Make sure you discuss that with your employer before they get rid of you. You aren't guilty yet. Sucks tho.
Two reasons I stay away from BP. One is because of the risk in a sting. Wish you had the ad and number used. Details such as she had a long history of posts on Google or fresh meat. This is why I only see girls I can confirm through Facebook.
Second mostly ever girl has a no good pimp / boyfriend / dude lurking around. I deal with all non pros. Girls that recently lost their job and complain about how no one will hire them. Good luck with all that stuff coming through. I know that if I'm in the paper or arrested for this sort of crime it's unemployment for me even being at the same place for 10 years.
That's why l deal with non pros now don't have to deal with all that got something going on now but keeping it under my hat but will let it soon.

The last thing you want is any sort of conviction even PBJ. If PBJ is the best you can get, that's one thing but a good lawyer will do everything he can to keep your record clean. Definitely look for someone who has experience in criminal and drug cases. Those guys are in district court all the time and are often much more experienced that the state's attorneys at that level.
It's bad now but with a good lawyer it won't be as bad as you think. After a while you will be back in the saddle. But worry about that later. Right now just get a good criminal defense attorney and be happy to spend the cash on him.
Also pay attention when you are in court. You will learn a lot and pick up any number of lessons other people are learning the hard way. Remember that while it is a violation of professional ethics for anyone in the legal profession to teach you how to break the law, there's nothing wrong with learning how to keep yourself by watching and learning from the mistakes of others. District court can be a great education.

Should give you a heads up on predicted outcomes.

They want you to testify, if you were in any sort of trouble you would have been charged in not let go. The judicial system just doesn't work like that. Get some legal consulation first. The pics are a scare tactic unless you were caught in the act by l. E.

Good evening all. Been lurking for a while and thought now would be a good time to share. Caught up with Deja, working in the Columbia area, great experience, FS for. 9 , room smelled like cigarettes but doesn't smoke in front of you. Blew it quickly, went again on the house. Also caught up w / blue ivy a last week. Gave me the run around, almost left but decided to stick with it. . 5 for CBJ, would not repeat. Complained about her last customer the whole time.
