I would block and ignore but if you must respond to them I'd tell them that extortion is a felony and leave it at that. Get a burner phone for hobbying. Or get an App like TextNow. You can get a number from the area code of your choosing and text and calls go to that app. For like $5 or $7 you can keep that number for a year. Don't worry for now. Just block them. I've yet to be threatened by anyone however Should it happen to me, I just will block them. Once you get an alternate number, no need to worry about the threats. No way to find you.
