What are closed AMPs that you miss? Can be open too but not the same like Trudy's. I heard back in the 70's or 80's they were younger with ts.

I would echo SpaNut, and its successor after they briefly tried moving to Plymouth. I can't remember the name of the place, but it was on Flying Cloud in EP not far from where Tesla is now. That one was decent, but it relocated before SpaNut did, down to Burnsville. Went to that one a few times after the move, but just not the same. The SpaNut name always amused me, not the best choice for a spa with its extra services in terms of being incognito.

If you see a cheap flight offer (probably not in the near future, sad to say), definitely worth the trip. I was in Dallas recently and though it was a lot of work to find something, the effort was worth it.

A couple of places were Asian, but the majority were Caucasian girls with a few African American girls. It is hard to believe that once between the two cities there were about 30 of these establishments. A few of my favorite were the Emporium and Lee Lenore's in St. Paul. In Mpls I liked East Lake Health Club and the Sauna 27. Sauna 27 was a real pit, but I liked the one girl that worked there.

They were great, the only limit on the menu was the amount of money you were willing to spend. The majority of the girls were mid twenties to early thirties. I only remember one place with a table shower, but the others had stand up showers.

Then in 1997 Mpls and St Paul decided that they were a public nuisance and succeeded in closing them down. A few managed to hold out for awhile. Kims on East Lake Street was the one that lasted the longest after the "purge'.

For a few years there were no storefront massage places, but then the AMP started to move in. Unfortunately, many of them are legit or worse. I hate that the AMPs in town invented the DIY session. I hate going somewhere and at the end the girl is pouring oil on you and saying "you do, you do. ".

There haven't been too many places in town from the current crop that I miss. Another poster mentioned SpaNut, they were good I wish they were still open. Super Spa in Brooklyn Park was also good.

A few years back there was a place I visited in Anchorage. The girls were pretty good looking, 100% sure thing, and they were much more into their job than most are these days. They closed up shop a couple years ago and I hear that the scene isn't the same without them.

Normally I never brag nor share explicit details in the forums but this AMP has been closed for years so I feel comfortable in sharing this.

First one that came to mind was the one in Monticello. Had my first L3 service from an actual AMP back in 2016 before they got shut down. Cindy was a spinner and super attractive. I think they normally only did L1 based off their reviews iirc but because her technique didn't work, she offered L3. It was memorable in that because they normally do L1 neither of us had protection but she allowed it anyways as long as I pulled out. It was also memorable in that I was new to the game and never did it without protection so I was freaking out on the drive home.

Good times.

My favorite of the past was Rejuvenscent in NE MPLS. Mix.

My favorite that is now gone was zenology in eden prairie. Those girls were young mid 20's and did an amazing job. I wish I knew where Sarah went.

There was a building around 27th and Lyndale that had a lot of good independent providers.

I did like Marcella's place. It was originally "Body Feelings" then became the Massage Room. Eventually two locations. I saw Violet Rivera there (location two) but in those days her menu was more limited. At least to me.

SpaNut was always good for a HE. I understand more was to be had but I missed all that.

There was a cute petite lady at a place in Plymouth called something FootSpa4 U. She was a hoot. Never quite knew what to expect; I suspect more was there to be had. Kara supposedly offered extras but somehow that never happened for me.

There was a wonderful brick and mortar high end spa in NE Mpls that I liked. Can't mention the name because its entirely possible that the owner will go back in business. She has done that before. Over time that particular place evolved to largely not being erotic even though the prices were on the steep side for a legit place.

I had a lot of independents I liked but that is a different deal entirely.

Now my cupboard is pretty bare. That's okay too. I have reached the age where the urge is more easily contained.

These guys post ads constantly. When I went there was a dude working the front desk. The rooms were not private, just curtained off. Massage was decent but nothing else. Anyone have a better experience?

But all have been closed for years now. So sad. My joy of spending the winter in Tucson was better than those days. The service was great, and I found a few favorites. Only wish we had those days back.

Got the number of one provider but she recently moved to a place in Savage.

It's been fun to reminisce about our favorite AMPs and providers. Five or ten years ago in MN, we had much better AMP providers and more AMPs to choose from.

What is causing the decline? Is this unique to MN?

Great service there as well. Little Canada closed around 2016. I believe ownership of Zen has changed.
